Kazakhstan and the UAE Expand Partnership in Sustainable Development 03.04.2026

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the Public Council heard a report from Mendykara District Akim G.M. Bekbayev, "On the Results of the District's Socioeconomic Development for 2025." In his presentation, the district akim outlined the development achievements and shared plans for the near future. Members of the Public Council noted the dynamic development of the socioeconomic sphere and positively assessed the results for 2025.At the meeting, K.R. "Open Door Day" 03.04.2026
An "Open Day" event was held at institution No. 74 of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System in the West Kazakhstan region for relatives of convicts held in the economic service unit.The purpose of the event was to strengthen socially useful ties between convicts and their loved ones, increase the level of openness of the institution, as well as familiarize relatives with the conditions of detention and the organization of everyday life.During the meeting, the relatives had the opportunity to get acquainted with the living conditions of the convicts, visit the facilities of the economic service unit, and also ask questions of the administration of the institution.Such events contribute to the social adaptation of convicts and the formation of trusting relationships between the institution and society. A 23-year-old citizen of West Kazakhstan region tried to transfer 3 smartphones to the detention center, which he wanted to transfer to a friend under investigation for personal use on the territory of the institution. Smartphones hidden in a container of a hot dish in a clever way were discovered during an inspection by employees of the security department. Заместитель Премьер-министра – министр национальной экономики Серик Жумангарин встретился с членом Коллегии Евразийской экономической комиссии по промышленности и агропромышленному комплексу Гоар Барсегян.В ходе встречи Гоар Барсегян проинформировала о реализации механизма финансовой поддержки кооперационных проектов в промышленности, предусматривающего субсидирование процентной ставки по заемным средствам, в том числе с участием казахстанских предприятий. В настоящее время в ЕЭК поступило 15 проектов, из которых 5 уже одобрены, остальные находятся на различных стадиях рассмотрения. Из числа одобренных проектов один инициирован Казахстаном, еще в двух наша страна выступает соучастником.В частности, в январе 2025 года одобрен казахстанский кооперационный проект по организации производства сельскохозяйственной техники на базе ЧК «Kazrost Engineering Ltd.» в Акмолинской области. Проект предусматривает запуск производства кабин для зерноуборочных комбайнов в кооперации с предприятиями России и Беларуси, которые обеспечивают поставку комплектующих и технологического оборудования.Реализация проекта позволит увеличить производственные мощности предприятия с 700 до 1000 единиц в год, провести технологическое перевооружение и модернизацию производства, а также создать 50 новых рабочих мест.Кроме того, на рассмотрении ЕЭК находится проект по производству сэндвич-панелей в Алматинской области. Он направлен на модернизацию действующего высокотехнологичного завода и реализуется в кооперации с предприятиями России и Кыргызстана, обеспечивающими поставку материалов и выполнение строительных работ. Проект предусматривает создание не менее 30 новых рабочих мест и расширение производственных мощностей.Отдельное внимание стороны уделили вопросам распространения механизма финансовой поддержки на агропромышленный комплекс. Roundtable on Stray Animal Population Control and Introduction of “Green Corridors” in Kostanay 03.04.2026
Tuday, a roundtable discussion was held at the city administration of Kostanay regarding the regulation of stray and neglected animal populations within the city. Participants and guests included representatives of veterinary clinics and veterinary offices.The purpose of the meeting was to establish an open dialogue with the veterinary community, discuss current industry issues, challenges related to working with the “TANBA” database, enhance control and transparency in responsible animal care, and develop joint solutions.During the discussion, it was noted that the Department of Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, and Veterinary Services will prepare a draft order of the Mayor of Kostanay to create a working group. Kazakh-Armenian consultations on multilateral cooperation held in Yerevan 02.04.2026

Podgorica, April 1, 2026 – The second round of Kazakhstan–Montenegro political consultations was held under the co-chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Issetov and State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Periša Kastratović.During the visit, the Kazakh diplomat held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Ervin Ibrahimović. АКИМАТ ШЫМКЕНТА ВЫИГРАЛ СУД: СТРАТЕГИЧЕСКИЕ ВОДНЫЕ ОБЪЕКТЫ ВЕРНУТЫ В ГОССОБСТВЕННОСТЬ.Это не просто судебный спор — это была принципиальная борьба… Сегодня суд поставил точку в одном из самых сложных дел последних лет: договоры, заключённые в 1997–1998 годах по приватизации объектов водоснабжения Шымкента, признаны недействительными. Шесть стратегических объектов подлежат возврату в государственную собственность. За этим решением стоит не только юридический процесс, но и годичная, последовательная и упорная борьба. Процесс пытались системно затянуть. По инициативе ТОО «Водные ресурсы и маркетинг» разбирательство уводилось в сторону с помощью «экспертиз», не имеющих отношения к сути спора. Апелляционная стадия затянулась почти на год. В такие моменты всегда возникает главный вопрос: способен ли закон выдержать давление? — Выдержал. Судьи приняли решение не в пользу бизнеса или частных интересов, а в пользу закона и государства. Это — принципиальная позиция. Нами были доказаны нарушения законодательства на каждом этапе приватизации. В этом деле, где цена решения была особенно высокой, выражаем особое уважение судье Д. М. Конысбаевой за проявленные профессионализм и независимость. Но это ещё не конец. Теперь начинается самый важный этап — фактический процесс возврата объектов. И здесь также возможны попытки обойти закон или затянуть процесс. Не допустить этого — наша задача. Потому что речь идёт не просто об имуществе. Strategy for Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Austria in Transport and Logistics has been Defined 02.04.2026
Vienna, April 1, 2026 – The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Austria, Mukhtar Tileuberdi, took part in a business lunch organized by Austrian business circles. The event focused on developing cooperation in the transport and logistics sector and the launch of the Austrian-Kazakh Connectivity Platform (AKCP).In his remarks, Ambassador Tileuberdi emphasized that Kazakhstan places special importance on the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, as well as on the introduction of modern solutions in multimodal transport and green logistics. STREET NAMED AFTER WAR VETERAN IN MUNAILY DISTRICT 02.04.2026
In accordance with Order No. 211 of the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 1, 2023, "On approval of the Rules for taking into account the opinion of the population of the relevant territory when naming administrative-territorial units, constituent parts of settlements, as well as clarifying and changing the transcription of their names," today, on April 1, a street in the "Sherkala" residential area of Mangystau village, Munaily district, was named after the Great Patriotic War veteran Kutysh Manatov in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory.Kutysh Manatov was born in 1916 in the city of Fort-Shevchenko, Guryev region (now Tupkaragan district, Mangystau region). His childhood coincided with a period of great hardship, and in 1942, at the age of 26, he went to the front of the Great Patriotic War. After being severely wounded and receiving medical treatment, the soldier was returned home in 1943.Upon returning to his homeland, he served as a teacher and made a significant contribution to the field of education. Together with his wife, Baktyly Zhaparbaikyzy, he raised seven children, establishing an exemplary family legacy.         From 30 March to 1 April 2026, the 111th session of the Finance Committee of the World Customs Organization (WCO) was held in Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium.        As a member of the WCO Finance Committee, the Republic of Kazakhstan took an active part in the session with the following delegation: Mr. Yermek Kozhabergenov, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Mr. Erik Orazov, Expert of the International Cooperation Department of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.      During the session, the Finance Committee members considered a wide range of issues related to the financial activities of the WCO, including:the results of budget execution for previous financial years;the current financial situation of the Organization;the budget parameters for the 2026/2027 financial year.      Particular attention was given to discussions on ensuring sustainable financing, as well as the implementation of the WCO Modernization Plan.     Delegates emphasized the importance of enhancing the efficiency of financial resource utilization, including more effective management of investment assets and reserves.     During the discussions, the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed its support for a balanced and gradual approach to financing matters, highlighting the importance of taking into account the budgetary capacities and interests of WCO Members.     The Kazakh delegation reaffirmed its readiness for open dialogue and continued constructive engagement on all agenda items, emphasizing the importance of a collective approach in decision-making.     The participation of the Republic of Kazakhstan contributes to strengthening its role in international customs cooperation and to shaping decisions on key financial matters of the WCO.      Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kgd/press/news/details/1192862?lang=kk
