MINISTRY OF HEALTH: 162 MILLION PACKAGES OF MEDICINES MARKED IN KAZAKHSTAN 24.12.2024
As of today, 162 million medicines have been labeled in Kazakhstan, of which 152 million were labeled after the introduction of mandatory labeling of medicines in Kazakhstan. At the same time, 16 million packages of medicines have been labeled and introduced into the retail network of pharmacies, which makes it possible to track the entire path of drug movement in the information system - from the manufacturer to the consumer. Digital labeling using a unique Data Matrix code allows you to track the entire life cycle of a medicinal product — from the manufacturer to the end user. The code contains important information: the name of the drug, the series, manufacturer information, expiration date, and other information. This eliminates the possibility of illegal trafficking and protects consumers from low-quality and counterfeit medicines. As of today, all participants in the turnover of medicines have completed the work on the introduction of labeling, namely:● 19 domestic manufacturers;● 278 wholesale trade entities;● 3,169 pharmacies and retail outlets. The Ministry of Health continues to monitor the movement of labeled drugs, ensuring control at all stages of their life cycle.Since July 1, 2024, Kazakhstan has introduced mandatory digital labeling of all medicines. This measure is aimed at combating counterfeit products and increasing the transparency of the drug market.Digital labeling is a significant step towards protecting the health of citizens and increasing confidence in the quality of medicines in the Kazakh market. It should be recalled that the NS Pharm free mobile application was developed in Kazakhstan to help pharmacies. It simplifies the handling of labeled goods and makes the process accessible even to small pharmacies, including those located in rural and remote areas. This modern digital solution for the pharmaceutical business meets all legal requirements, reduces equipment costs and eliminates the need for complex IT support.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/dsm/press/news/details/904984

Since the beginning of the year, Kazakhstanis have been paid pensions in the amount of more than 3.4 trillion tenge. 24.12.2024
Since the beginning of the year, pensions in the amount of 3 trillion 436.4 billion tenge have been paid from the republican budget, of which 1 trillion 81.9 billion tenge has been allocated for the payment of basic pensions, and 2 trillion 354.5 billion tenge has been allocated for solidarity pensions. As of December 1, 2024, the number of pensioners is 2 million 428 thousand people. The average amount of the total pension as of December 1, 2024 amounted to 131,556 tenge, including the amount of the solidarity pension – 88,967 tenge, the basic pension – 42,589 tenge.Starting from July 1, 2018, the state basic pension payment is assigned to each recipient individually, taking into account their length of service in the pension system. At the same time, the length of service in the pension system includes the length of service worked out in the solidarity system as of January 1, 1998, as well as the periods for which mandatory pension contributions were paid (hereinafter referred to as OPV).So, if the length of service in the pension system is 10 years or less, and in the absence of it, the amount of the basic pension is equal to 65% of the minimum subsistence level, then for each year over 10 years, its size increases by 2%. For example, if you have 20 years of experience, the basic pension will amount to 85% of the minimum subsistence level. If you have 30 years of service or more, it is set at a maximum of 105% of the minimum subsistence level. If in one month the Single Accumulative Pension Fund has been transferred several times, the period of participation in the accumulative system is one month. Thus, the more regularly and in full the mandatory pension contributions are paid, the greater the amount of the basic pension payment upon reaching retirement age.In turn, the amount of pension payments by age depends on the length of service as of January 1, 1998 (requires at least 6 months) and the average monthly income received in the pre-retirement period.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/enbek/press/news/details/904531

In cases stipulated by law, legal assistance is provided free of charge. This principle is implemented through the Law "On Advocacy and Legal Assistance", which regulates the procedure for the provision of legal aid. The State provides citizens with free legal assistance, including legal information, legal advice and representation of interests in court.According to him, vulnerable groups of the population can receive free legal aid, including large families, disabled people, war veterans, victims of violence and human trafficking, minors without care, as well as victims of industrial accidents."These categories are defined by law, and we strive to provide high—quality support to everyone who needs help," said Aidos Shambulov. Thus, in 11 months of 2024, more than 17,500 citizens used the services of guaranteed legal aid, which is 21% more than in 2023.More than 9,800 legal consultations were provided, about 7,300 criminal services, and legal assistance in civil and administrative matters was provided in 431 cases.Shambulov also noted an increase in requests for legal advice, which indicates an increase in legal awareness among the population."To date, the Astana City Department of Justice has concluded contracts with 195 lawyers and 90 legal consultants who provide guaranteed legal assistance services. The system also provides for strict monitoring of the validity of the refusal to provide assistance. The grounds for refusal may be the absence of a legal nature of the application or the applicant's belonging to categories not covered by law. All refusals are issued on a reasoned basis and can be appealed in court," said Aidos Shambulov.Assistance was mainly provided in the recovery of alimony and the appointment of pensions, support for victims of crime, as well as assistance to large families, pensioners and people with disabilities.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/astana/press/news/details/904620

On December 18, within the framework of the large-scale environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan" in Astana, famous athletes expressed support and gratitude to the employees of public utilities, the official website of the Akimat of the capital reports. In the early morning, famous athletes of Astana gathered to support public utilities workers who, in difficult winter conditions, daily clear the city of snow and ice. The organizers of the action offered the employees hot tea and baursaks, thanking them for their hard work and concern for the cleanliness of the city. The event was attended by such famous athletes from the capital as Maksat Sailau, Merey Maulitkanov, Aybek Aitbekov, Nurlan Karabalin, Madi Amangeldy, Nurzhan Batyrbekov, Nurbek Talbudin, Nursultan Duisenkulov, Zere Sarbalina, Aiza Mambekova, Nariman Seken."Today, I personally felt how difficult it is for utility workers — what it feels like to wake up early, clean snow, and clean up the city. It's a very difficult job, especially when it's freezing outside. I respect the people who keep the city clean. Once again, I realized how important the work of public service employees is. First of all, we are holding an action to be an example for the younger generation. Young people always focus on their elders, media personalities, and famous athletes. If, as a young man, I had seen the world champion clearing snow in the morning and treating employees to tea, it would have motivated me to do good deeds. It is important to remember that the cleanliness of our capital and the whole country depends on us, we must help each other," said Astana's senior MMA coach Nurlan Karabalin. In addition to the treats, the athletes helped the workers in snow removal, showing an example of active support and concern for the cleanliness of the city.It should be noted that such events are held in Astana on a regular basis. Their goal is to strengthen the spirit of unity, inspire people to support each other and remind them of the importance of good deeds.
