В селе Мухаметжана Туймебаева Илийского района более 1000 домов подключены к централизованной системе питьевого водоснабжения. Стоимость проекта составила 1,4 млрд тенге. В рамках реализации было проложено 21,5 километра водопроводных сетей, построены два резервуара, две артезианские скважины глубиной до 220 метров, а также лаборатория. Подача воды началась в августе 2025 года, а строительно-монтажные работы полностью завершены в ноябре. Мощности системы рассчитаны с учетом перспективного роста численности населения до 30 процентов.Ранее в каждом доме имелись скважины глубиной до 35 метров, однако вода из них была непригодна для питья, в связи с чем жителям приходилось привозить воду самостоятельно.Как отметил руководитель отдела жилищно-коммунального хозяйства и жилищной инспекции Илийского района Газиз Алтайулы, в прошлом году в районе было построено 55,2 километра новых сетей питьевого водоснабжения и обновлено еще 10 километров.Кроме того, для села Коккайнар Ащыбулакского сельского округа разработана проектно-сметная документация на строительство системы водоснабжения и получено положительное заключение государственной экспертизы. В соответствии с проектом планируется проложить 22 километра водопроводных сетей и обеспечить централизованной питьевой водой более 1100 домов. Constitutional Commission: the main platform for developing a new Constitution 01.02.2026
The Constitutional Commission played a key role in the process of developing a new Constitution in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main task of the Commission was to develop legally sound proposals in the context of constitutional reform that met the needs of society. The commission consisted of 130 people, including legal scholars, maslikhat chairmen, representatives of the National Kurultai, members of regional public councils, experts, and heads of the scientific community and the media. This composition allowed for a comprehensive and professional discussion of the reform. The Office of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan was appointed as the working body of the Commission, which provided systematization of proposals and legal expertise. The Commission meetings were held in an open format, and well-known lawyers, human rights defenders, public activists, deputies and political scientists spoke at the meetings. In addition, the work of the commission was broadcast live and widely and in detail reported in the media. This clearly demonstrates that the new draft Constitution was developed in accordance with the principles of openness, transparency, and public oversight.

The number of new animal species and visitors is growing at the Almaty Zoo 28.01.2026
In 2025, 87 offspring from 31 animal species were born at the Almaty Zoo. Furthermore, the zoo's collection is annually replenished with new and rare species, such as the bison, tamandua, civet, genet, and agama. This was announced by the head of the Almaty City Culture Department, Daniyar Aliyev, at a briefing held at the Regional Communications Service.Today, the Almaty Zoo is one of the oldest and most significant zoos in Kazakhstan. On its 21-hectare territory, it currently houses over 4,000 animals, birds, and reptiles belonging to 385 species. Of these, 76 species are included on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List, and 24 species are listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Kazakhstan."In 2025, the number of zoo visitors reached 1.2 million people. This clearly demonstrates the high popularity of our zoo in the country and the region. The annual increase in attendance is the result of our work and a reflection of the mission to preserve nature," noted the head of the department, Daniyar Aliyev.In 2025, the Almaty Zoo was accepted as a full member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EAZA). This status confirms the zoo's compliance with international standards and opens up new opportunities in the field of animal conservation and scientific research.This year, a large-scale reconstruction will take place at the Almaty Zoo. The goal of the project is to create a comfortable, modern, and educationally rich space for visitors. JSC “SPC Almaty” is launching concessional loans for entrepreneurs as part of the implementation of mechanisms to stabilize prices of socially important food products (SIFP).The loans will be provided to replenish working capital at an annual interest rate of 0.01% and will enable entrepreneurs to cover key operating expenses, including the purchase of raw materials, payment for services, salaries, and logistics.In turn, producers and retailers will undertake obligations to restrain prices for socially important food products. The volume of supplies is determined by the entrepreneur, and upon receiving the loan, prices on store shelves will be fixed for a specified period. Currently, SPC “Almaty” has active loan agreements with the following producers: “Sary-Bulak” Company — Category I eggs at no more than 59 tenge per unit on store shelves;“Alatau Kus” — chicken thighs and leg quarters at 1,100 tenge, drumsticks at 1,650 tenge;“Nauryz Agro KZ” — chicken thighs and leg quarters at 1,250 tenge.Price stabilization for these products is ensured for a period of up to three years.
