  Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continue to actively work on teaching children the basics of safety in emergency situations.   The goal of this work is not only to teach children to behave correctly in emergency situations, but also to instill a safety culture in children from an early age in order to prevent possible tragic situations in the future.   In a kindergarten in Shymkent, young pupils met with real rescuers. This educational event allowed children to learn how to behave in emergency situations and avoid dangers in everyday life. Rescuers told children about the rules of conduct in emergency situations and explained how important it is not to panic, but to immediately call 101 or 112 and quickly leave a dangerous place.   The practical part of the meeting included a “practice evacuation” of children from a building, during which the children were able to work out the algorithm of actions in case of a fire. The Ministry of Water Resources is rehabilitating the Koksarai counter-regulator in the Turkestan region to more efficiently divert flood waters, irrigate agricultural lands, and maintain the water balance of the North Aral Sea.
