Every leader should consider this the main principle of his work. Only concrete work is needed. It is impossible to achieve positive results in new conditions using old, bureaucratic work methods and formalism. I instruct state bodies to focus on the high-quality implementation of the tasks assigned by the Head of State, to take decisive measures without undue haste and without delay. Real results are expected from all of us,” Olzhas Bektenov noted. The Prime Minister drew attention to a number of priority areas of work, emphasizing the strict strengthening of budgetary discipline and a balanced distribution of the state budget across priority areas.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/aqmola/press/news/details/927259

Within the framework of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aktobe region has begun to intensify work on attracting investments for the development of the economy, infrastructure and implementation of social projects. The main focus will be on attracting private and foreign investments, creating favorable conditions for business and supporting innovative projects.Regional akim Askhat Shakharov held a meeting on the implementation of the instructions given by the President at the expanded meeting of the Government on January 28 of this year. The meeting, which was attended by city and district akims, heads of departments, discussed priority areas of work on increasing the volume of investments. They noted that the decline in investment activity requires taking urgent measures and coordinating actions between state bodies, development institutions and the business community.“The main focus will be on attracting investments. Only by increasing the tax base of the region can we solve the social problems of the population. It is important that all responsible structures actively participate in the work. In order to avoid misunderstandings, clear explanations will be given on taxation issues and other aspects. In addition, if we want to boost the economy, we need to develop all areas, including tourism. We have specific tasks ahead of us, for each of which a specific implementation plan will be developed,” the regional governor said.It should be noted that in 2024, the volume of investments in the Aktobe region amounted to 901.1 billion tenge. The decrease in investments is due to the completion of a number of large projects for the modernization of production and equipment, as well as a reduction in the volume of oil and gas production. In 2025, it is planned to implement 10 investment projects worth about 500 billion tenge in the region, which will allow creating about 1.2 thousand jobs. These initiatives are aimed at developing industry, energy and infrastructure, which should contribute to improving the economic situation in the region.During the meeting, the head of the region emphasized that the work of the investment headquarters will be reviewed to strengthen the investment potential of the region, and interaction with the Kazakh Invest, Aktobe SEC and specialized departments will be intensified. Special priority is given to supporting large projects that contribute to expanding the tax base and creating new jobs. The participants also discussed mechanisms for increasing the region's investment attractiveness, including facilitating the issuance of technical conditions, developing a logistics hub at the Aliya Moldagulova International Airport, and conducting explanatory work among businesses on taxation and state support. The regional akim noted that responsibility for achieving investment indicators lies with all leaders, and work will be evaluated based on specific results. The country's government supports the region, but the successful implementation of the tasks set requires active and coordinated interaction of all stakeholders."The work of each leader is given a specific assessment. In this regard, the government is already taking strict measures. The President of the country said that he relies on officials who are not afraid to take responsibility. The leader must make decisions and follow them through to the end. We cannot stand still, we must not allow this," the akim concluded.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/aktobe/press/news/details/927251

Galymzhan Ilyasov, Deputy Head of the Department of Trade and Consumer Protection for Astana, explained this at a briefing in the Communications Service, the official website of the capital's akimat reports. The document will enter into force 60 days after its official publication, that is, on March 12.“In recent years, the country's retail market has been developing rapidly and competition has intensified. This has led to an increase in consumer complaints about unfair trade practices. As part of the new changes, fines for false advertising, consumer deception, violation of trade rules, and illegal actions related to pricing policy will be significantly increased. Now the requirements for entrepreneurs have been tightened. Responsibility for false advertising will be strengthened. According to the updated law, fines for false advertising will increase significantly: for individuals - 100 MCI, for small businesses - 350 MCI, for medium-sized businesses - 500 MCI, for large entrepreneurs - 1,000 MCI. For example, given that in 2025 1 MCI will be 3,692 tenge, the amount of the fine for large businesses may reach 3.69 million tenge. This change was introduced in order to prevent consumers from being deceived. Strengthening control over advertising content will increase the responsibility of businesses,” says Galymzhan Ilyasov. In his speech, he mentioned that hidden payments and price differences will not be allowed.“The requirements for displaying prices for retail outlets will also be tightened. Now entrepreneurs must necessarily display the price of goods only in tenge and should not artificially increase the cost of goods at the checkout. The fines for violating the rules have been set: for small businesses - 6 MCI, for medium-sized businesses - 10 MCI, for large businesses - 30 MCI. If the same violation is committed for the second time within a year, the fine will increase sharply: for small businesses - 65 MCI, for medium-sized businesses - 120 MCI, for large businesses - 200 MCI.In addition, new fines have been introduced for deceiving the consumer, incorrect measurement, underselling or overcharging: for individuals - 10 MCI, for small businesses - 20 MCI, for medium-sized businesses - 30 MCI, for large businesses - 50 MCI (184,600 tenge). These measures are aimed at preventing unfair trade practices in the trade sector and protecting consumer rights, - says the speaker.According to Galymzhan Ilyasov, such violations are most often found in markets and small shops. The new fines will help discipline entrepreneurs and reduce consumer complaints."The adopted amendments are aimed at creating an open and fair business environment. The tightening of fines will reduce cases of consumer fraud, increase business confidence, and ensure fair competition in the market," says the deputy head of the Department of Trade and Consumer Rights Protection for Astana.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/astana/press/news/details/926824
