Over the five years of the program's implementation, 79 social facilities were built and overhauled in the region, 167.5 km of utility networks were modernized, 116.1 km of roads were built and repaired."This year, 9.8 billion tenge has been allocated for the implementation of 59 projects in 39 villages. It is planned to build 19.1 km of utility networks and 11.9 km of water pipes, repair and build 32 social facilities. 12 projects are transitioning. 27 projects should be completed by the end of the year. In the village of Akkayyn, Martuk district, Aktobe region, preparations are underway for the delivery of a medical center.At the moment, the contractor is completing work on the equipment of the facility, while the construction work is fully completed.The building of a new medical center was built in the village as part of the national project "Modernization of rural healthcare". The cost of the project is 237 million tenge.There are 410 people living in Akkayyn, mostly older people.There will be 1 nurse in the medical center for 20 visits per day. On the eve of Republic Day, on October 23, a successful organ transplant was performed in the East Kazakhstan Regional Hospital for four patients from a posthumous donor.After the brain death was confirmed, the relatives of the 39-year-old donor agreed and donated organs to four people. During the multi-organ sampling, a heart, lungs and two kidneys were removed.A man born in 1977 had a heart transplant, a woman born in 1962 had lungs, a child born in 2015 had a kidney, and a woman born in 1966 had another kidney, thus saving the lives of four citizens of the country.Patients gained chances for a "second life" thanks to a well-coordinated team of republican, regional and inpatient transplant coordinators of the Republican Center for Transplant Coordination of the Ministry of Health and specialists of the transplantation centers of the University Medical Center, National Scientific Oncology Center LLP.According to the RCTVMU, in 2023, 7 posthumous donors were registered in Kazakhstan, which allowed 19 organs to be transplanted. Today, within the framework of the 74th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe in Copenhagen (Denmark), Minister of Health Akmaral Alnazarova and Head of the WHO European Office Dr. Hans Kluge discussed a number of initiatives aimed at strengthening the health system of Kazakhstan.The parties agreed to promote the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to create a Coalition of countries on PHC at the global level and to organize the Secretariat of the Coalition on the basis of the Geographically remote WHO PHC office in Almaty."Kazakhstan is interested in promoting this issue at the level of Heads of State and Government during the high-level meeting of the UN General Assembly in September 2025 in New York and the presentation of the Coalition of Countries on PHC.
