Launch of new water pipes in rural settlements of the region 07.01.2025
Today, Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov took part in the ceremonial launch of water pipes in several rural settlements. This is an important step in fulfilling the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to provide 100% of the rural population with high-quality drinking water by 2025.In 2024, 20.2 billion tenge was allocated for the implementation of 77 water supply projects in the region. Thanks to this, 50 villages have been provided with high-quality water, including 15 villages with centralized water supply and 41 villages through block modules and distribution points for imported water.Construction of water pipes in five settlements has been completed in Kostanay region this year.:Alexandrovka,Moscow,Sadovoe,Enbek,Talapker.As a result, more than 4,500 people gained access to centralized water supply for the first time.Water pipes have also been opened in:the village of Boskol, Karabalyk district,the villages of Atayevka and Bestobe in the Kamystinsky district.The overall effect of the commissioning of these facilities is to provide high—quality drinking water to more than 3,000 people.Kumar Aksakalov noted that work in this direction will continue. Next year, it is planned to connect the villages of Oktyabrskoye and Konstantinovka to the centralized water supply system in Kostanay region. The construction of water pipes in Nechayevka and Ryspaev will also be completed, and construction of a new water supply system will begin in the village of Limannoye."The launch of new water pipes is a significant event for residents, because water in every home is a step towards a comfortable and decent life. More than 1,400 unused land plots have been identified in the Almaty region 07.01.2025
Since the beginning of last year, 1,462 unused agricultural land plots with a total area of 422.0 thousand hectares have been identified in the Almaty region. This fact underlines the importance of rational use of land resources and the need for enhanced control in this area. On behalf of the Land Resources Management Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, by the end of 2024, it was planned to return unused agricultural land with a total area of 70 thousand hectares to state ownership.In this regard, 89.7 thousand hectares of agricultural land have been returned to state ownership. The plan has been completed by 128.0%. Of these, 74.8 thousand hectares were voluntarily transferred by the owners, which indicates an increase in their responsibility for compliance with the law.Another 14.9 thousand hectares were seized through lawsuits. According to experts, these results became possible thanks to joint work with the Department of Land Management of the Almaty region. Amanzhol Abdrakhmanov, Head of the Department of Land Relations of the Almaty region, noted the importance of continuing this work: “The effective use of each acre of land is a contribution to the food security of the region and the country as a whole. In 2024, 18,035 ethnic Kazakhs returned to their historical homeland and received the status of kandas. Since the beginning of the year, about 560 billion tenge has been allocated from the republican budget for the payment of state social benefits (hereinafter referred to as GSP) for disability and survivor's loss. In addition, social payments for disability and loss of breadwinner in the amount of about 73.4 billion tenge were made from the State Social Insurance Fund (hereinafter referred to as the GFSS).As of December 1, 2024, the number of recipients of GSP for disability is about 539.5 thousand people, in case of loss of the breadwinner – about 188.3 thousand people.The amount of state social benefits for disability depends on the group and cause of disability, as well as on the minimum subsistence level established by the law "On the Republican Budget" for the relevant fiscal year.The amount of state social benefits for the loss of a breadwinner depends on the number of dependents of the deceased breadwinner, the cause of death, and the minimum subsistence level.In addition, participants in the compulsory social insurance system receive social security payments from the State Social Insurance Fund in the event of social risks. Thus, as of December 1, 2024, 101.1 thousand people received social benefits for disability, and about 67.2 thousand families received social benefits for loss of breadwinner. The amount of payments is individual and depends on: the average monthly income from which social contributions were made to the State Social Insurance Fund over the past 2 years, disability coefficients, the number of dependents, length of service in the compulsory social insurance system and income replacement. These payments are made in addition to similar benefits paid from the national budget.Starting from January 1, 2024, the amount of state social benefits for disability and loss of breadwinner has been increased by 7% due to an increase in the subsistence level. As of December 1, 2024, 411.3 thousand people from 77.6 thousand families have been assigned targeted social assistance (hereinafter referred to as TSA). This year, 54.7 billion tenge has been allocated from the budget for these purposes.As previously reported, the main purpose of the TSA is to bring a family out of a difficult life situation by providing support in the form of cash payments and involving able–bodied family members in active measures to promote employment.The TSA provides for:- quarterly assignment of social assistance to citizens whose income does not exceed 70% of the regional subsistence level;- provision of monthly additional payments to children from low-income families aged 1 to 6 years inclusive in the amount of 1.5 MCI (5,538 tenge) per child.
