The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Korea and the Ministry of Water Management of the People's Republic of China signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the field of water resources for the first time. The corresponding agreement was signed at the 12th session of the Kazakhstan-China Cooperation Committee chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar and the Deputy Prime Minister of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Ding Suesian. Akimat of Karagandy region invites creative and talented residents to participate in the contest on creating symbols of the region.For more than 20 years, the emblem (logo) designed by Tolegen Abilkasov, a member of the Union of Artists, was used to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the region.
