Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov announced that the comprehensive plan for the development of the said resort area for 2025-2029 has been approved and is being implemented. The plan is aimed at large-scale development of tourism, transport and engineering infrastructure of the region."The plan conceptually includes activities for the development of new places: resort "Akbura", tourism areas around lakes Katarkol and Jokei. The priority of implementation of 34 engineering and transport projects was defined.
