THE RESULTS OF THE RATING OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS OF UNIVERSITIES OF KAZAKHSTAN FOR 2025 HAVE BEEN PUBLISHEDThe National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" presented the results of the rating of educational programs of universities in Kazakhstan in 2025. This rating provides an objective assessment of the quality of educational programs and is the result of many years of work on the analysis and assessment of the quality of education in the country. This was announced by Azamat Beisenbenov, Managing Director of the Human Capital Development Department of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.The rating of educational programs is aimed at providing the key stakeholders – applicants, parents, employers and educational organizations – with useful and objective information. As part of the work on the rating, the following tasks were completed::Data collection for 2051 bachelor's degree educational programs;Involvement of independent industry experts;A comprehensive assessment of programs based on four sets of criteria: graduates' career prospects (49%); quality of educational programs (24%); student achievements (16%); general indicators of secondary vocational education (11%).In 2024, 2,051 educational programs in 95 universities were analyzed, for which 117 ratings were compiled. More than 100 experts from various industries from all regions of the country were involved in evaluating the content of educational programs. Basic statistics about graduates:The leaders in terms of employment among educational programs are:Computer Science and Robotics – 98%;Technical physics – 95%;Mineral processing – 93%;General medicine – 92%. Regional differences:Almaty region leads the way with an employment rate of 90%;East Kazakhstan region – 86% (VKTU and VKU);Kostanay region and North Kazakhstan region show an employment rate of 84%. The average duration of job search in 2024 was 3.3 months. The rating data of educational programs demonstrate both the achievements and growth areas of the higher education system in Kazakhstan, which allows us to build a strategy for further development of the industry.
