The Almaty City Department of Entrepreneurship and Investments announces the start of a competition for the best New Year's decoration of facades and adjacent territories among representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. Santa Claus' yurts opened in Almaty 04.01.2025
Almaty has festive yurts decorated in the national style. They are installed in three prominent places of the city: Astana and Abai squares, and on Arbat. Almaty is strengthening its position as one of the country's leading tourist centers. This innovative project aims to digitally transform the physical education and sports sector, ensuring transparency and efficiency in data and process management.The main goal of the platform is to create a centralized database that combines information about athletes, coaches, referees and methodologists from all over the country. The platform also allows you to confirm the affiliation of athletes and coaches to physical culture and sports organizations and their qualifications, create and edit an electronic calendar of sporting events, as well as digitize sports facilities.The key modules of the platform have already been implemented at the pilot stage. In particular, electronic passports for athletes, coaches, referees and methodologists have been developed, an electronic register of sports facilities has been created and a calendar of events in digital format has been introduced. Currently, 81 sports federations and 6 organizations have joined the platform, and data from more than 1,700 athletes has been entered into the database."In 2025, the Ministry plans to expand the functionality of the platform. Today, the Jibek Joly tourist train began its journey along the route "Almaty - Turkestan - Tashkent - Samarkand - Shymkent - Almaty". The tour will last for 5 days from January 2 to 7. More than 100 passengers set off on the second journey. Travelers will immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of ancient cities and travel along the traces of the Great Silk Road.
