This was reported by the press service of the city Maslikhat. In total, it is planned to plant about 17 thousand large-sized trees, of which 15 thousand will be more than 4 meters high, and 2 thousand - more than 6 meters.Planting will be carried out on public lands: along main streets, in parks, squares, boulevards and other public spaces. This approach will make it possible to create shade and green areas in the shortest possible time, which is especially important for densely populated areas of the city. The project provides for the use of modern methods of planting and caring for trees. Within two years after planting, systematic care of the plantings will be organized, including drip irrigation and installation of automatic irrigation systems, as well as fertilizing trees and shrubs with mineral fertilizers adapted to local conditions, which will accelerate their survival.Landscaping is aimed at improving the environmental situation and improving the quality of the urban environment. Planting large-sized trees will reduce the time for the formation of a full-fledged green infrastructure and create comfortable conditions for residents.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/897127
