Akim of the region Nurlan Urankhayev presented a report on fire safety measures during the heating season at a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Despite an overall decrease in the number of fires in the residential sector by 10% since the beginning of the year, a significant increase of 75% was recorded during the heating period.As the head of the region noted, the increase in the number of fires is associated with citizens' non-compliance with fire safety rules.
