The Subcontract Exchange-2024 was held in Astana. Our country has a serious potential for the development of a belt of small and medium-sized enterprises around large businesses. Large structures should actively enter into long-term contracts with local companies. This allows our producers to plan their production activities for a long period, invest in modernization, create new production facilities and jobs," said Vice Minister of Industry and Construction Olzhas Saparbekov. As O. Saparbekov added, the Ministry is actively working to improve legislation in the field of procurement of subsurface users. Thus, legislative amendments have been developed providing for the development of programs for the development of domestic value and the conclusion of contracts aimed at the development of domestic industry. Such innovations will create conditions for guaranteed sales of finished products of Kazakhstani enterprises, ensuring stable demand in the domestic market. At the same time, domestic producers will be offered counter-commitments to increase production volumes, produce high-quality products and at a cost appropriate to market conditions. The main topic of the Subcontract Exchange is the development of industrial cooperation between large mining enterprises and domestic producers. This form of cooperation simultaneously solves the problem of additional workload for a number of sectors of the manufacturing industry - metallurgy, mechanical engineering, chemistry, construction industry and light industry. This year, 246 long-term contracts worth more than 108 billion tenge and 39 offtake contracts worth almost 25 billion tenge were signed between MMK enterprises and domestic manufacturers. "Assistance to enterprises in finding new suppliers is the most important task of our center. Subcontracting exchanges allow us to present the potential of domestic manufacturers to large customers, build efficient production chains, establish long-term and stable relationships," explained the head of QazIndustry.Within the framework of the event, a memorandum of cooperation on the development of the manufacturing industry and increasing domestic value was signed between QazIndustry and subsoil users (Kazakhmys, Kazzinc and ERG). Law and order: the facial recognition system has started working in two megacities of Kazakhstan 22.11.2024
The national video monitoring system has been launched in two cities of Kazakhstan. The innovative project was developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Security Committee and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry. The national video monitoring system using artificial intelligence technologies makes it possible to recognize wanted persons, signal abandoned objects in public places, and record offenses in automatic mode. Computer vision also allows you to identify vehicles by make, model and color.Objects such as railway stations, airports, hotels, streets, intersections, shopping malls are under the close attention of “smart” cameras.Digital “watchmen” have already shown their effectiveness. During the World Nomad Games in Astana, it was possible to quickly find children lost in the crowd, as well as registered and missing persons.46 wanted offenders were promptly identified and detained using the video analytics system in Astana. Similar work is being carried out in Almaty, where 30 such persons have been identified and detained to date. The technologies being introduced are a new step towards creating smart cities, which will increase public safety and reduce crime. Similar systems are actively used in China, Russia and European countries. Kazakhstan is confidently becoming a part of this global trend, adapting the best practices. In the future, it is planned to expand video monitoring with an increase in the number of cameras. This will happen in stages.By the way, today, regardless of the form of ownership, there are 1 million 359 thousand video cameras in the country, of which 310 thousand have been withdrawn to the Central Control Center and police duty stations.Innovative opportunities are a great help in combating crime and ensuring public safety in crowded places. The main goal of the implemented systems is to create conditions for every citizen to feel protected in a society where law and order prevail.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/qriim/press/news/details/886756
