Their participation is invaluable, and despite their age, they remain cheerful and energetic. Our senior volunteers treat young people with kindness and care, like their grandchildren. We easily find a common language and always maintain friendly relations. They show by their example that even in adulthood it is possible to remain active and benefit society, and also share their life advice with young volunteers. Rewarding such volunteers really inspires them. This not only increases their motivation, but also highlights the importance of their contribution to the community. Thus, we express our gratitude for their hard work," Indira Maremova stressed.Riza Bekpaeva, a volunteer at the Center for Active Longevity of the Nura metropolitan area, shared her impressions, who directs the intellectual games course at the center and actively participates in the Kumis Zhoba volunteer project."I was sent an invitation to the event, but I didn't even realize that it would be an award ceremony. Our center holds many events not only within the framework of the volunteer movement, but also interacts with children and schoolchildren. I cannot fail to mention our cooperation with the Zhansaya Rehabilitation Center, where we organize concerts and events dedicated to the traditions and cultural customs of the Kazakh people. Participating in such events brings me great satisfaction, because I feel like I'm putting a piece of my heart and kindness into what I'm doing. This is truly important to me," Riza Bekpaeva concluded.A concert program was held after the award ceremony. Barrier-free parking in Zhetysu and Bostandyk districts will be launched in Almaty 04.12.2024
The modernization of the parking infrastructure continues in Almaty. Since December 5, on the territory of parking lots of the site type in Zhetysu district in front of the shopping center "Adem", shopping center "Yalyan", shopping center "Alatau 1"/shopping center "Batyr", shopping center "Almaly"/Olzha shopping center, Barys market, as well as Nurly Tau business center, barrier-free parking systems will be launched north of al-Farabi Avenue, east of Zheltoksan Street in Bostandyk district. The barrier-free parking system uses modern photo and video cameras to control the entry and exit of cars. At the entrance to the parking lot, the camera automatically records the state number and the time of arrival of the car. The departure time is fixed in the same way. This allows you to accurately take into account the duration of parking and eliminates the need to stop in front of the barrier, which significantly reduces time and eliminates queues. The launch of this type of parking will allow thousands of drivers to save time every day and avoid congestion at entrances and exits. Installing information plates with instructions and QR codes for quick payment will make the process even more convenient. There is a prepaid payment system in communal parking lots. Drivers are offered several convenient ways:* Mobile application "Parking Almaty": available for iOS and Android devices. In the application, you can select "prepayment" or "postpaid" (until 23:59 of the current day).* Website Almaty-parking.kz : allows you to pay for parking online without registration.* SMS payment: subscribers of Kcell, Activ, Beeline, Tele2, Altel can send SMS to the number 1309 and pay from the mobile account balance.* Kassa 24 and Qiwi terminals: for those who prefer cash payment.* Banking applications: payment via mobile applications of second-tier banks.Recall that in October of this year, a similar parking system was launched in the parking areas of the universal markets "Kazyna", "Arlan", "Alatau-2", "Akbulak-1", "Akbulak-2" and "Akbulak-3". Drivers note the convenience of the new system."You don't have to wait for the car in front of you to get its ticket and pull into the parking lot. And when you leave, you don't have to wait for other drivers to make the payment, sometimes they don't even know how to pay. There are noticeably fewer traffic jams at the entrance and exit," one of the drivers comments. The introduction of a barrier—free parking system is part of a global strategy to improve urban infrastructure. It is planned that in the near future, for the convenience of Almaty residents, such a system will be installed in most municipal parking lots of the city. For all questions of interest, residents can contact the call center by phone +7 (727) 390-8000, daily from 08:00 to 20:00.
