Interim tests of an innovative type of road barrier, i.e. cable barriers, have been successfully completed on one of the sections of the Astana-Karaganda (KAZ01) highway of republican significance in the Karaganda region with a high risk of snow accumulation. The tests were conducted on a 500-meter-long experimental section near the city of Temirtau. The cable equipment was installed along the road in the direction of Karaganda, specifically on the belt separating the lanes and on the right side of the road. As a result of the tests, this device showed high efficiency in adverse weather conditions (during a blizzard).Cable barriers have significant advantages over traditional metal barriers. They are especially effective in conditions of heavy snow and strong winds. They allow snow to pass freely through the cables. This prevents it from accumulating on the dividing strips and edges of the road. Such barriers also help reduce the cost of mechanical cleaning of roads. The mentioned types of fences are actively used in the USA, Japan and Europe due to their economic efficiency.The project is being implemented under the scientific and technical guidance of specialists from the Kazzhol Research Institute. They will conduct a two-year monitoring of the effectiveness of cable fences in various weather and operating conditions. If the experience gives positive results, cable fences can become an alternative to traditional metal barriers in areas with a high risk of snowfall. For the first time, the International Classification of Diseases, 11th Revision (ICD-11), has been presented in the official language.The World Health Organization (WHO) has officially presented an updated version of the International Classification of Diseases, 11th Revision (ICD-11), which includes a Kazakh version.This is an important step in the development of the healthcare system of Kazakhstan, which will contribute to increasing the accuracy, detail and compatibility of medical data. Currently, 132 countries around the world are working on the implementation of ICD-11, with Kazakh becoming the 11th official language of the ICD-11. Previously, versions were published in English, Spanish, Russian, Uzbek and several other languages.The ICD-11 is a global standard for classifying and coding diseases and health-related issues. The document contains approximately 55,000 unique codes for injuries, illnesses and causes of death. A new medical center (FAP) was opened in the village of Kudryashovo, Kurmangazy district, Atyrau region, with the participation of Timur Sultangaziev, First Vice Minister of Health, and Kaisar Abdaliyev, Head of the Health Department.The new medical facility was built as part of the national project for the modernization of rural healthcare, implemented by order of the head of state.The constructed FAP, which serves about 2 thousand local residents, allows them to receive medical care in comfortable conditions. The medical organization has 1 doctor and 5 middle-level medical specialists.The new facility is connected to the water supply and sewage system, and is also fully equipped with medical equipment, has physiotherapy, vaccination rooms, and a pharmacy.As part of the national project, the construction of 18 medical facilities is planned in Atyrau region, 13 of which have been put into operation.Special attention is paid in the region to providing rural settlements with qualified medical personnel.
