As part of the program, about 200 nests and feeders for birds have been installed since the onset of cold weather. They are being installed not only in forest areas, but also in urban areas. Foresters of the Department of Natural Resources and nature management make feeders and nests from available materials. During the winter, it makes sure that there is enough feed in the feeders for birds.Today, more than 10 bird nests have been installed in the arboretum of the Kirzovod plant district.- In winter, birds really need our help, because on frosty days and when the snow is thick, it is difficult for them to find food on their own. Therefore, I urge the residents of the region not to remain indifferent, if possible, make feeders and bird nests and place them on the territory of the city. However, when feeding birds, certain rules must be followed. Birds should not be fed with salty, fried, peppered foods, as well as buns, fresh white bread, black bread or almonds,-says Alexander Moskalenko, a hunter of the Karaganda Regional Forestry and Wildlife Protection farm. From June 2024 to the present day, seven large and large-scale events have been organized and successfully held in the Karaganda region as part of the Environmental Action "clean Kazakhstan". It included seminars, trainings, information campaigns, forums and cultural and program events. These activities covered a wide range of issues aimed at increasing environmental literacy, developing an ecological culture and involving citizens in active actions to improve the environment.
