200 video surveillance cameras have been installed in the districts and cities of the Turkestan region to ensure public safety. The Auyl – El Besigi project is being actively implemented in the Turkestan region, aimed at improving infrastructure and providing social facilities. In 2024, 30.1 billion tenge was allocated under this project for the implementation of 213 projects in 182 settlements. Of these, 57 projects are transitional, and 156 are new. In 2023, 154 projects were implemented, with the development of 99.2% of the allocated funds.The plans and objectives of the project were discussed at a meeting of the regional akimat. Each district should develop plans for 2-3 years, taking into account the needs of the population, and projects that affect the quality of life should be a priority," the governor of the region emphasized.According to Kanat Kayypbek, head of the Department of Economics and Budget Planning of the Turkestan region, in 2024, 4 cultural centers, 4 sports facilities, an additional academic building of 1 school, 20 power supply facilities, and 12 gas supply facilities were built under the Auyl –El Besigi project. In addition, 4 schools, 4 cultural centers, and 3 drinking facilities have been completely renovated. 102 projects have also been implemented in the field of road repair, and an average repair of 339 internal streets (330 km) has been carried out. This year, it is planned to increase the acreage by 37,000 hectares and bring it to 906,000 hectares.According to Alibek Plalov, deputy head of the department, 58,000 hectares of cotton will be sown this year to increase yields through the introduction of new technologies. Practice shows that the use of modern technologies saves water, fertilizers and labor resources, and yields reach 60 quintals per hectare (2.5 times higher than the average).
