Eco-actions within the framework of the "Taza Kazakhstan" program continue in Mangystau 06.12.2024
On December 6, in the Mangystau region, within the framework of the republican program "Taza Kazakhstan", an environmental action was held, organized by the NPU "EcoMangistau". The venue was the picturesque Saura tract, located near the city of Aktau. The purpose of the campaign is to attract the attention of young people to environmental issues, foster environmental responsibility and preserve the natural resources of the Mangystau region. The event was attended by 50 students of the Caspian University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh. Yesenov, who together with the organizers were engaged in cleaning the territory of the tract, sorting garbage and contributed to the preservation of the unique nature of the region. The Saura tract, located 90 km from Aktau on the western coast of the Caspian Sea, attracts with its natural beauty, unique ecosystem and rich history. The main attraction of the tract is a lake surrounded by steep stone walls, whose permanent inhabitants are rare relict marsh turtles. There are many legends associated with Saura. According to one legend, the lake arose from the tears of an unhappy woman who committed suicide after a tragic loss. Another story tells about Beket ata, who, according to legend, flew to Saura on the "black swans of disbelief" to prove the strength of his faith. In addition, archaeological sites such as a ruined Bronze Age fortress, a necropolis and traces of the caravan site of the Great Silk Road have been preserved on the territory of the tract. Burials, artifacts and traces of ancient earthquakes have been found in the fortress, which presumably led to its destruction. Saura is a place where nature, legends and history merge into a single whole, creating a unique atmosphere that attracts tourists and researchers.According to the project manager of the NPU "EcoMangistau" Aliev Javid Zeynelabdin oglu, the Taza Kazakhstan program is an important step towards the development of ecological culture among the population:— Today we see that the participation of young people in environmental actions is not just cleaning of territories, but a conscious contribution to the future of our nature. Each of us can become a part of a great cause — the preservation of the environment. We invite everyone to join the campaign anywhere in the city. Your participation will be an important step towards creating a clean and environmentally safe Kazakhstan. Also, in the Mangystau region, the Ecolider club initiated the Karakol Sakhshylary project within the framework of the small grants program of the Department for Youth Policy of the Mangystau region. The aim of the project was to study the ornithological biodiversity of Lake Karakol, conduct an express assessment of the ecosystem and analyze the habitat of birds. The project was attended by pupils of the regional family-type orphanage, students of the boarding school for gifted children, students of biological and environmental specialties of the Sh. Yesenov University, as well as students of the regional college of Tourism. A volunteer corps of 135 people was formed as part of the project. The participants observed a population of about 15,000 grebes, 10,000 sibilant swans, as well as flamingos, herons, marsh holes, ducks and seagulls. The collected data and completed sketches became the basis for new scientific projects of schoolchildren and students. So, two students from the Mangystau region prepared research on the problems of Lake Karakol and became the winners of the regional stage of the republican competition of scientific projects. The head of the volunteer club "Ecolider" and a member of the regional environmental council of the association "Ecojer" Bakhytgul Omirkhankyzy stressed the importance of such initiatives:— Last year, in the Mangystau region, we initiated independent studies of the causes of the mass death of more than 1,200 swans and about 2,000 Caspian seals. To prevent such environmental disasters, it is necessary to increase the level of environmental literacy of the population. The Ecolider Club actively participates in the actions of the Taza Kazakhstan program, is engaged in sorting, collecting and processing solid household waste. In addition, we conduct career guidance work with school students, helping them choose professions related to the study and protection of nature, — said Bakhytgul Omirkhankyzy. It is worth noting that in 2024, the environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan", implemented on behalf of the Head of State, significantly expanded the scale of traditional clean-up days, giving them a new format. Within the framework of the eco-week, more than 168 thousand people took part in clean-up, 1738 pieces of equipment were involved, 27,462 tons of garbage were removed. Aktau reconstructed a highway on the territory of the "Warm Beach" 04.12.2024
The warm beach is the only territory of Aktau city with tourist potential. This beach has become a favorite place for people to relax since the founding of the regional center. Since the sandy beaches of the Caspian Sea are convenient for swimming in this area.In accordance with the instruction of the Head of State, in order to increase the tourist potential of Aktau, the regional akimat in 2019 began work on the reconstruction of the only 27 km long transport and infrastructure road leading to tourist sites located on the territory of the "Warm Beach".It should be noted that the work on providing the tourist area with the necessary infrastructure was carried out comprehensively. In particular, water supply, sewerage, electricity and gas supply networks were built simultaneously with the highway. Before the reconstruction, the road, built in the 1980s, was a two-lane unlit highway, which lacked pedestrian zones and bike lanes, which did not meet modern requirements. After the reconstruction, the technical characteristics of the highway are as follows: the width of the road section is 14 meters, the number of traffic lanes is 4, a lighting system, parking lots, bus stops are installed, pedestrian and bicycle paths are provided. In order to provide regular route services for passengers traveling to the Warm Beach, bus route No. 6 "Airport-Aktau-Warm Beach" has been launched. Thus, the reconstruction project of the highway from the MAEK water intake to the Kuryk seaport was completed and put into operation in September 2024. 9.3 billion tenge has been allocated from the republican and local budgets for the implementation of the project. The construction work was carried out by a local contractor.Comprehensive work aimed at fully unlocking the tourism potential of the region continues. In this regard, as a logical continuation of the above-mentioned project, the Akimat of the region is implementing the project "Reconstruction of 34 km of road from the MAEK water intake to the Kuryk seaport (Stage II)".The completion of the project is scheduled for 2026, and it is expected that the highway will directly connect the ports of Aktau and Kuryk, and will give a new impetus to the development of tourist facilities in the Warm Beach of Aktau, the areas of Kyzylkum Munaili district and Sarsha Karakiyansky district. The press service of the akim of the Mangystau regionSource : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mangystau/press/news/details/895946
MTS RK plans to introduce changes in the procedure for awarding sports titles, grades and qualification categories 04.12.2024
As part of the improvement of the system of awarding sports titles and categories, a draft new order has been developed, providing for changes in all sports, including sports such as acrobatics and rhythmic gymnastics. The assignment of sports titles, categories and qualification categories is regulated by the norms and requirements approved by the Order of the Acting Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 28, 2014 No. 56 "On Approval of norms and requirements for the assignment of sports titles, categories and qualification categories" (hereinafter – the Order). At the same time, the assignment process itself, including the procedure for submitting applications, is determined by Order No. 300 of July 29, 2014, which regulates the entire mechanism for awarding and depriving sports titles, categories and qualification categories. The amendment of the new order provides for standards for many sports, including the introduction of a point-based assessment system for rhythmic gymnastics and sports acrobatics, developed by republican accredited sports federations. Until now, titles and ranks in these sports have been awarded solely on the basis of the prizes won.The new rules also provide for a unified approach to awarding titles and grades for all categories of sports: Olympic, Paralympic, national, non-Olympic, technical, military-applied and others. The draft order clarifies the requirements for all sports, developed in cooperation with relevant sports federations.Athletes who have fulfilled the requirements of the new order will retain the right to be awarded titles and ranks, including the results achieved at competitions before the entry into force of the updated standards.Currently, the draft order has been sent for approval to the Department of Legal Service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
