More than 97 km of new engineering networks will be built in the Zhetysu district of Almaty by the end of 2025 16.11.2024
Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev got acquainted with the construction of water supply and sanitation networks in Zhetysu district during a working detour.Previously, there were no backbone networks in this section. In Soviet times, residents stretched a collective water supply system, and then connected to private networks. Due to the small diameter of the pipes and the growing population, there was a shortage of pressure and, consequently, water. The pipeline, worn out during operation, could not withstand the load, which caused frequent gusts, and intermittent interruptions in water supply.Large-scale construction of new water supply and sanitation networks in Zhetysu district began in March 2023. The total length of engineering networks under the project is 97.75 km: 25.7 km of water supply and 72 km of sewer networks. As of today, the facility is 30% ready. The completion of the work is scheduled for December 2025.The project also provides for the restoration of asphalt pavement on 13 streets along the entire width of the road, work has already been completed on 9 of them: Taimyrskaya, Meshchersky, Shildekhan, February, Ob, Feoktistov, Leonov, Bykovsky, Serikov. Work is underway to restore the 1.5 km long roadway along Burundayskaya and Oktyabrskaya streets. Similar work will be carried out on Logovaya and Ermolova streets. After the completion of the project, about 6 thousand subscribers will be provided with central engineering networks. The head of the city instructed the akim of Zhetysu district to monitor the progress and quality of construction and complete the work on time. Yerbolat Dosayev noted that the implementation of this project is an important step in improving the urban infrastructure and the quality of life of residents of Zhetysu district.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/883532

Traffic through the tunnels of the Zhansugurov – Seifullin interchange will open in Almaty this weekend 16.11.2024
Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev, during a working detour of the Zhetysu district, got acquainted with the pace of construction of a transport interchange at the intersection of Zhansugurova Street and Seifullin Avenue. The project was launched in 2017, but was delayed due to the need to purchase 259 land plots. So, the last site was vacated in May of this year. The project involves the construction of 2 tunnels with a total length of 690 meters to ensure uninterrupted traffic along Seifullin Avenue. The passage of vehicles along Zhansugurova Street will be carried out at ground level. There are also 4 aboveground pedestrian crossings, sidewalks and landscaping of the surrounding area. As of today, the asphalt concrete pavement of all exits has been installed, one aboveground pedestrian crossing has been erected, and work is underway to rebuild sewer and contact networks. In addition, work has been completed on the installation of asphalt concrete covering of the Zapadny and Vostochny tunnels along Seifullin Avenue. Traffic on them will be open at the weekend and, under favorable conditions, it is planned to apply temporary road markings. The mayor of the megalopolis instructed to speed up the work and complete the facility with landscaping of the adjacent territory by the end of June next year. 53 tons of waste were removed from the bottom of Lake Karasu in Almaty 16.11.2024
During a working detour of the Alatau district, Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev got acquainted with the results of work on cleaning Lake Karasu.Residents of the eponymous microdistrict asked the mayor of the city to put Lake Karasu in order. On behalf of Yerbolat Dosayev, a corresponding project was developed and coordinated with the Balkhash-Alakol Basin Inspectorate. The contractor, TOLAGAI–2050 LLP, started mechanical cleaning of the reservoir in March 2023 and was supposed to be completed by September. The deadline for the completion of the project had to be postponed to August of this year, due to the fact that the thickness of the bottom silt turned out to be several times greater than expected during the design (100-120 cm instead of 30 cm). In addition, the timing was affected by the need to build a temporary road along the bottom of the lake for the passage of heavy equipment. Initially, it was planned to carry out cleaning in winter, when the ground freezes. After the completion of the work on cleaning the lake, the temporary road was removed along with the silt. It should be noted that such work was carried out for the first time in the entire existence of the pond. As a result, 53 tons of waste and 10 thousand cubic meters of silt deposits were removed from the bottom of the lake. At the same time, spillway structures were built to regulate the water level and prevent its overflow over the banks. The project allowed to solve a number of problems that the townspeople complained about, first of all, thanks to the cleaning, the ecological balance of the water area and the biodiversity of the reservoir will be restored. The lake will again be comfortable for the residents of the neighborhood and will become a point of attraction for all citizens and guests of the city.During the detour, residents of the Karasu microdistrict, thanking for the work done to clean up the lake, asked the head of the city to build a pedestrian zone around the reservoir. To this, Mayor of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev replied that on his behalf, an improvement project will be developed, which will take into account requests for the construction of walking and active areas for sports.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/883394

A new pedestrian zone has been built in the Alatau district of Almaty 16.11.2024

Traffic on the new bridge in the Zhetysu district of Almaty will open on November 22 under favorable weather conditions 16.11.2024
During a working detour of the Zhetysu district, Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev inspected the bridge under construction across the Yesentai River in the Kemel microdistrict. Earlier, on behalf of the head of the megalopolis, traffic on the bridge was closed due to its emergency condition.A technical inspection of the bridge structure, built in the 1960s, carried out in June, revealed partial destruction of concrete structures, the appearance of cracks on the bridge supports, the absence of a deformation seam, and more. In this regard, it was decided to build a new bridge as part of the emergency.Initially, it was planned to open traffic for transport at the end of October. However, due to the structure of the soil, it became necessary to install 29-meter bored piles instead of the planned 9-meter ones. In addition, during the preparation of the foundation for special equipment, the pedestrian part of the bridge collapsed in the riverbed. This part was supposed to be dismantled after the new bridge was built, but due to the collapse, it had to be disassembled earlier. Thus, the deadlines for the execution of the work were shifted. As the head of the Department of Urban Mobility Sagyndyk Telibayev reported to the head of the city, work has been carried out on the installation and testing of piles, the installation of supports, retaining walls, the installation of beams and the reconstruction of engineering networks. The facility was also tested. As a result of the reconstruction, the length of the bridge will be increased from 16.8 to 33 meters, and the width from 8.5 to 14.5 meters. In addition, it is planned to install sidewalks of 1.5 m on both sides."The bridge provides transport connectivity for residents of several neighborhoods and nearby villages. This is an important infrastructure facility, so the construction was carried out as soon as possible. Geology revealed the instability of the soils, so it was decided to install piles to a depth of almost 30 meters, and the bridge was also doubled in length. The main amount of work has been completed, the movement must be opened by the end of next week and then work on the pedestrian part and the surrounding area will be completed," Yerbolat Dosayev said.It should be recalled that until the completion of repair work on the construction of a new bridge, a detour of the specified section is provided through Mukhamedzhan Seralin Street.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/883415
