As part of the celebration of Independence Day, a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the monument "Tauelsizdik" was held.The ceremony was attended by Mayor Yerbolat Dosayev, deputies of the Maslikhat, members of the Public Council, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, participants in the December 1986 events, representatives of ethnic and cultural associations and youth organizations.The participants of the event observed a minute of silence to the sounds of a metronome in memory of those who gave their lives on the path to independence of Kazakhstan.The ceremony ended with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the military brass band of the Almaty regional garrison.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/903974
