Since the beginning of the year, 170.8 thousand people have been covered by state benefits, as well as payments from the State Social Insurance Fund (hereinafter referred to as the SSF) related to childbirth and care for a child until the child reaches 1.5 years of age, for a total amount of 80.1 billion tenge.In January 2025, 33.7 thousand people received benefits for childbirth from the republican budget for a total amount of 6 billion tenge. Citizens of our country who have children born, adopted, or under guardianship, relatives, as well as foreigners permanently residing in Kazakhstan, can apply for this benefit.People (families) with children born, adopted, or under guardianship, if the person caring for the child is not a participant in the compulsory social insurance system, and stepchildren, if they are not in the family of other parents, have the right to receive benefits related to child care. During the reporting period, 123 thousand people received child care benefits for children up to 1.5 years of age in the amount of 3.6 billion tenge.The amount of state benefits for childbirth and child care is determined by the law on the republican budget, depending on the monthly calculation index (hereinafter referred to as the MCI) approved for the relevant financial year. For example, 260 meters of ditches will be constructed along Iirzhar Street in the "Sairam" residential area.In addition, 370 meters of ditches are planned to be constructed along Zhibek Zholy Street (near the car wash station) in the "Martobe" residential area, and along Orkeniet and Azharly Streets in the "Miras" microdistrict.In addition, about 700 meters of ditches are planned to be constructed along Tagilym Street (formerly Abay Street) and Orikzar Streets in the "Sairam" residential area. During his working visit to our city, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar got acquainted with the main infrastructure and investment projects. The purpose of the visit was to assess initiatives aimed at improving the urban environment, improving the quality of life of the population and strengthening the economic potential of the region.One of the facilities was the Shymkent railway station, which was renovated in 2024. Its area was doubled, and its throughput capacity increased to 6,000 passengers per day. Investment in the project amounted to 1.1 billion tenge.In addition, the First Deputy Prime Minister got acquainted with the activities of the Schoolchildren's Palace No. 2 for 500 children. Here, students are provided with conditions for science, art and sports. The implementation of the project, the total cost of which is 254 million tenge, was a vivid example of improving the educational infrastructure of the city.The delegation also got acquainted with the work of the "Bozaryk" substation, which was transferred to trust management and provides electricity to 250 thousand people.Furthermore, Roman Sklyar got acquainted with the construction progress of the "Alsera KZ" greenhouse complex. The facility is located near the airport and the Western Europe - Western China highway. The center with a Cross Docking system for rapid cargo processing will significantly accelerate the delivery of agricultural products to the domestic and foreign markets.In addition, the Coca-Cola Almaty Bottlers JV LLP plant, which provides the region with an additional 100 new jobs and has an investment volume of 27 billion tenge, was also examined.Another point of the working trip was the new terminal of Shymkent airport. It was opened in December 2024 on the instructions of the Head of State. SCAT invested 24 billion tenge in the implementation of the agricultural project.In 2024, the gross regional product of Shymkent increased by 12%, the volume of construction by 27%, and the commissioning of residential buildings by 42%. The volume of attracted investments increased by 9%, 12 large projects worth 78.2 billion tenge were implemented, and more than 1 thousand jobs were created. In addition, 293 projects worth a total of 225 billion tenge were implemented in the industrial zones of the city.
