In 2024, the area sown with agricultural crops amounted to 760.2 thousand hectares. This was achieved as a result of diversification and the introduction of water-saving technologies. In particular, the area of ​​​​forage crops was increased by 17.1 thousand hectares, and potatoes - by 2.3 thousand hectares.The yield of grain and oilseed crops increased from 12 to 15 centners per hectare. This not only increased the amount of fodder, but also contributed to the development of livestock farming.Last year, the livestock population in the region increased significantly: cattle - by 42.1%, sheep - by 21.4%, goats - by 40.7%. The meeting was attended by the heads of water management departments of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.The parties considered the progress of the inter-vegetation period in the basins of the Syrdarya and Amu Darya rivers.It should be noted that the agreed volume of water will flow through the Syrdarya River to the Shardara reservoir in the Turkestan region. The Prosecutor's Office of the Kostanay region conducted an analysis of the measures taken to ensure timely payment of alimony by parents, adhering to the principle of "Law and Order".The number of convicted willful debtors in the region has doubled over the past three years. In 2024, with the coordination of the prosecutor's office, 61 parents were convicted for non-payment of alimony in the amount of 96.3 million tenge, including 6 people who were sentenced to imprisonment.For example, one citizen did not pay alimony to his son for 4 years, and the debt amounted to 4.4 million tenge. The prosecutor of the Fedorov district initiated a pre-trial investigation, and by court verdict the debtor was sentenced to one year of restriction of liberty.In addition to criminal liability, administrative punishment measures are applied. A total of 327 people were brought to administrative responsibility, of which 122 were fined and 205 were arrested.Debtors are also temporarily restricted in their right to travel abroad, obtain and use licenses, permits and special rights, and dispose of their property.Those who want to get a job and pay alimony correctly will be provided with assistance through employment agencies. More than 360 debtors have been employed, which has made it possible to provide children with monthly alimony payments.According to supervisory acts, the Kostanay region prosecutor's office has protected the rights of 275 minors and managed to repay debts in the amount of 286.4 million tenge. 85 bailiffs were disciplined, one of whom lost his state license for systematic inaction.
