Students of Almaty Construction College have developed the "Smart House" project 15.02.2025
In the city of working professions, students of the Almaty Construction College presented an innovative "Smart House" model developed using Arduino technology. The automation system includes intelligent light sensors that control the switching on and off of the lamp depending on the time, as well as an advanced security system. There are PIR motion sensors, gas and smoke sensors that prevent possible emergencies. And temperature and humidity sensors automatically regulate the operation of the ventilation and heating system, providing a comfortable microclimate. All functions of the "Smart House" can be controlled remotely from a smartphone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. In case of danger, for example, when gas or smoke leaks, the system immediately sends a message, and buzzers and LCD displays warn about the danger. “Our project shows how modern technologies can make housing more comfortable and safe. For example, the system immediately detects a gas leak and sends a message to the owner,” says college student Gabbas Bayazitov. All elements of the system were designed and programmed by the students themselves. The mobile application for managing the “smart home” is available in the Play Market and App Store. This project shows real prospects for installing such technologies in residential buildings, increasing their energy efficiency and safety.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/edu/press/news/details/936261
Almaty college students produce solar panels 15.02.2025
Students of the Almaty College of Energy and Electronic Technologies launched the production of the first solar panels in the training workshop. They presented their projects at the City of Working Professions. “We make solar panels entirely with our own hands. First, we connect the photocells to each other and weld them to a special base. Then we make a lamination to protect the panel from external influences and fasten it to an aluminum case. At the final stage, we turn on the system and check how efficiently it converts solar energy into electricity,” shared Madi Zhanbolat, a 3rd-year student at the college. This project will not only help students master modern technologies in the field of renewable energy, but also open up prospects for developing their own production of solar panels in Kazakhstan. In addition, senior college students will have the opportunity to undergo paid internships at leading companies.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/edu/press/news/details/936876
All livestock in the Zhetysu region has been "digitized" 15.02.2025
Currently, there are more than 2.3 million livestock in the region, of which about 500 thousand are cattle, 1.6 million. heads of small cattle, and more than 200 thousand horses. All of them are registered in the state information system "Database for Identification of Agricultural Animals". In general, much attention is paid to the veterinary sector in the region. For example, over the past two and a half years, 49 veterinary points and 1 veterinary station have been built in the region. This year, 20 more such facilities are planned to be built. In addition, digitalization is being widely introduced and used in this sector, - reports the press service of the Zhetysu region akim.According to the regional veterinary department, in the process of digitizing veterinary processes, the "VetLab" and "ISZH-Mobile" modules for diagnosing highly dangerous diseases, which are included in the iszh.gov.kz web portal of the state information system "Database for Identification of Agricultural Animals", are widely used in the region. Similarly, all 34,763 livestock owners registered in the identification database in the region are now fully using the “TortTulik” mobile application. In this regard, special attention is being paid to strengthening the material and technical base to improve the quality and efficiency of the work of veterinary specialists. For example, since the establishment of the region, 45 special vehicles, 217 computers, as well as 238 tablets have been purchased.- Now, after the launch of the “ISZH-Mobile” mobile application of the agricultural animal identification database, tablets have been purchased and delivered to veterinarians. Working with a tablet has significantly simplified and accelerated our work. The work done during visits to large farms and private yards, i.e., registration of livestock, preventive measures, vaccinations, is immediately entered into the database using a tablet. Even in places without Internet access, the data entered on the tablet is automatically sent to the appropriate database immediately in places with Internet access, - says Aigerim Bekbosynova, a veterinarian at the Taldykorgan city veterinary station with veterinary stations, who has been working in this field for almost thirteen years. In addition, the Department of Digital Technologies of the Zhetysu region has included anthrax burial grounds and cattle burial grounds and veterinary stations in the electronic map of the "Zhetysu region Situation Center". Currently, based on the conclusions of the interdepartmental commission, sanitary protection zones of cattle burial grounds are being included in the electronic map. Measures for the development of beef cattle breeding were discussed at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan 15.02.2025
As part of discussions with business representatives on the development of the industry, the Minister of Agriculture A. Saparov met with representatives of the meat livestock industry. During the meeting, the advantages and disadvantages of simplified financing, fiscal instruments for the development of the industry, as well as the regulation of the live livestock market were discussed. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carrying out planned work to increase the effectiveness and transparency of state support. In this regard, it is planned to replace subsidies for selection and breeding work with other support instruments. In particular, the issues of changing the subsidy standards for the sale of livestock to meat processing plants and feedlots and providing the industry with simplified financing are being considered. Meat livestock, like other sectors of the agricultural sector, needs affordable working capital. Therefore, this year the ministry plans to launch a 5% soft loan program for a period of 15 months. In addition, the possibility of financing investment loans at a preferential rate is being discussed. Another important issue is fiscal measures.“In addition to the issue of VAT (Value Added Tax), which is currently being actively discussed, it is necessary to take into account that fiscal instruments contribute to the “coming out of the shadows” of the agricultural products market. In particular, tax incentives can become an advantage for processing enterprises and give an impetus to the collection and processing of wool, leather, fruit and vegetable products,” explained Azamat Shalmagambetov, director of MB4 LLP. The minister noted the need for a comprehensive discussion of tax changes with government agencies and business representatives. In addition, he noted that stimulating measures to “bring out of the shadows” of agricultural products trade is one of the priority areas. One of the important topics of discussion was the increase in prices for meat, especially beef.“The administrative bans and restrictions introduced earlier have had a negative impact on the industry. "As a result of bans and quotas, the profitability of livestock farming has decreased, and some farmers are stopping livestock breeding," said Dauren Salykov, director of the Angus Kazakhstan Republican Chamber. "The increase in meat prices is primarily due to the activity of speculators. They are exporting livestock in various ways. We understand that administrative bans hinder the development of the industry. But in order to open the cattle market, it is important to ensure the stability of the domestic market. We will discuss solutions together, and your suggestions will be considered," said A. Saparov. Following the meeting, expanded discussions will be held with business representatives within the framework of the working group on the development of beef cattle breeding established under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/moa/press/news/details/936933

Instead of a 100-year-old 8-apartment house, a modern 6-story residential complex: the first project under the renovation program was completed in Shchuchinsk 15.02.2025
A ceremony of handing over the keys to 40 apartments to representatives of socially vulnerable groups was held in Shchuchinsk, the press service of the Akim of the Akmola region reports. The 8-apartment residential building located at 13 Tsialkovsky Street was built in 1924. The owners of the dilapidated building applied to the Burabay district akimat in September 2022 and stated that the housing was in a state of emergency. After an examination, in 2023 the building was recognized as a state of emergency and a decision was made to demolish itLocal executive bodies decided to include the state of emergency building in the renovation program. Former residents vacated their homes to the construction company "Tasu Company" LLP. Thus, the project was implemented solely at the expense of private investments, without attracting budget funds. The contractor company built a modern 6-story residential complex with 48 apartments in place of the old building. It should be noted that this house is the first residential building built in the Akmola region as part of the renovation program being implemented by order of the Head of State. The construction of a new house will not only improve the living conditions of citizens, but also change the appearance of the city and allow it to be renovated without the need to build additional engineering infrastructure. The old apartments were replaced with new, spacious and comfortable housing. All former residents received modern apartments with high ceilings and bright corridors from the new residential complex. Also, an elevator was installed in the house, which significantly improves the quality of life of residents. The complex is equipped with all the necessary conditions and provides full opportunities for a comfortable life. The remaining 40 apartments were purchased by the akimat of the Burabay district, providing housing for dozens of citizens from socially vulnerable groups.During the handover of the keys to the new residents, the akim of the Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov noted the importance of such programs in improving the quality of life of the population. He said that renovation is an important step towards not only solving the problem of dilapidated houses, but also creating comfortable and modern conditions for the population. "The head of state pays special attention, first of all, to the implementation of social projects aimed at improving the quality of life of Kazakhstanis. One of them is the issue of providing housing. Last year, 28 houses were built at the expense of budget funds and 850 apartments were purchased. As a result, the housing situation of about 2.5 thousand families improved. 1.5 thousand of them are families from socially vulnerable groups. In general, more than 6 thousand Akmola residents in the region received new, comfortable housing. The purchase of ready-made apartments made it possible to reduce the housing queue. In addition, these houses are of much higher quality than those built at the expense of the budget. This measure will improve the housing conditions of large families, orphans, citizens with disabilities and other socially vulnerable categories of people,” said M. Akhmetzhanov.Elina Schmidt, a mother of many children who received an apartment in a new house, shared her joy:“I did not believe it when the housing and communal services employees called and said that we would be given an apartment. At first, I thought they were scammers and contacted the akimat. They confirmed that their employee had contacted me and said that I could submit the documents. At that moment I burst into tears. We waited 14 years, we thought that we would never be able to buy a house again. When we saw the apartment, we cried again - because this is our home! It is very beautiful, I did not expect such a good repair. We are very grateful to our state for such a program. We are very happy!” – said E. Schmidt. The implementation of the renovation program in the Borovoye district is an important step towards improving the housing conditions in the region. In addition, it is a harmonious example of modern construction and care for the needs of the population. This program also covers other cities in the region. In particular, in the city of Kokshetau, new housing construction has begun within the framework of this initiative. Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/aqmola/press/news/details/936396

23 more public transport routes in Almaty recognized as socially important 15.02.2025
An extraordinary XXVII session of the city Maslikhat was held in Almaty. One of the issues on the agenda was the recognition of newly created public transport routes as socially significant in order to make them accessible to the population.Speaking to the deputies of the city Maslikhat, the head of the Almaty mobility department, Sagyndyk Telibayev, noted that a significant part of the suburban population faces the problem of a lack of public transport, which forces them to use private transportation services.“More than 300 thousand vehicles enter the city every day. In order to reduce the high flow of vehicles entering the city and increase the mobility of the city’s residents, the Almaty akimat has organized 147 urban and 54 suburban routes today. Of these, only 178 routes are included in the list of socially significant routes. "In order to ensure the accessibility of the remaining 23 routes for the population, they need to be included in the list of socially significant routes," the head of the department noted.Following the results of the meeting, the deputies supported this proposal. It should be noted that in 2024, on the instructions of Almaty Mayor Yerbolat Dossayev, 20 suburban and 2 urban routes were launched in the city. This year, in order to increase the accessibility and development of public transport, it is planned to purchase 800 environmentally friendly buses.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/936163
