In July 2025, Kazakhstan, among 39 countries, will present the third Voluntary National Review at the High-level political forum on Sustainable Development, which will be held at the UN Headquarters in New York. The Forum is one of the main international platforms where countries share their experiences and progress in implementing the UN 2030 Agenda.The review is being conducted by the Ministry of National Economy in cooperation with government agencies, civil society, business and international partners. Construction is planned to begin in the second half of 2025. The cost of the project is 408.4 billion tenge, the capacity is 388 thousand tons, the launch is in 2027, 800 jobs.• The plant for the production of terephthalic acid and polyethylene terephthalate — a strategic partner is being sought. Under this program, agreements have been concluded between KPI and 114 enterprises from 15 regions of the country.
