TURKESTAN: DRAMA "KOSEM" STAGED FOR THE FIRST TIME AT THE FESTIVAL 01.02.2025
This year marks the 113th anniversary of the birth of Dinmukhamed Kunayev, an outstanding statesman and public figure, three-time Hero of Socialist Labor, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, Doctor of Technical Sciences.The Kazakh National Theater of the Sairam District staged a psychologically sad drama called "Kosem" in honor of the public figure. This is the first time that a play on this topic has been staged.The district akim Arman Sabitov, representatives of the intelligentsia and residents of the district attended the performance.The story revolves around the December events of the last century in 1986 and Dinmukhamed Kunayev, who ruled his country fairly. The scene is moved by the unjustified dismissal of Dinmukhamed Akhmetovich, who ruled Kazakhstan at that time, the pressure exerted on him by Moscow, and the torture of young people. The youth, who opposed his political views and the "Leninist" policies of that time, defend their individual figure to the fullest. It raises the national interest to a higher level.The author of this performance, based on the data, is Bolattemir Altayev, winner of the international Zhambyl Prize, associate professor, Honorary Citizen of the Sairam district.
