Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov visited Stepnogorsk Multidisciplinary Hospital as part of his working trip, where he inspected the progress of major repairs. The renovation of the medical facility is aimed at creating comfortable conditions for patients and medical staff, as well as improving the quality of medical services provided.According to Tokhtar Konurbayev, the acting chief physician of the hospital, the contractor has already completed interior finishing works and updated engineering communications. After the renovation is completed, the hospital will be able to offer patients treatment conditions that meet healthcare standards.The hospital has 246 round-the-clock and 24 day-care beds. More than 40 thousand residents of Stepnogorsk and nearby settlements receive assistance at the medical facility.
