On November 27, 2024, with the participation of representatives of the territorial departments of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the police and local executive bodies, the issues of organizing anti-terrorist protection were explained to the heads of tourism facilities.The following information was provided during the event:- requirements for the organization of anti-terrorist protection of objects vulnerable to terrorism approved by Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 6, 2021 No. 305;- instructions on the organization of anti-terrorist protection of facilities vulnerable to terrorism of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and facilities vulnerable to terrorism operating in the fields of physical culture and sports, gambling, lottery and lottery activities, tourism, tourism and tourism industry approved by order of the Acting Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 29, 2024, No. 141.- rules for the functioning of the National Video Monitoring System, approved by Order No. 69-ke of the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 27, 2020;- updating of the passport of anti-terrorist protection of objects vulnerable to terrorism, based on the model approved by the joint order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 14, 2023 No. 481 and the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 26, 2023 No. 51/ke;- signs of standard and improvised explosive devices and the algorithm of actions when they are detected;- a scheme for notifying on-duty services in order to minimize and eliminate the consequences of terrorist threats;- the inevitability of punishment for deliberately false messages;- rules for the establishment and payment of remuneration for information that helped to prevent or suppress an act of terrorism.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/akimvko/press/news/details/891963
Gambling and Lottery Regulatory Committee: Clarification for citizens included in the Unified Register of Debtors 28.11.2024
A press release issued on November 15, 2024 by the Gambling and Lottery Regulatory Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports contained clarifications that some media outlets and social media users misinterpreted. As a result, false information appeared that citizens who are in the Unified Register of Debtors (ERD) can return money transferred to bookmakers.The Committee officially refutes this information and clarifies the following:🔹 Requirements of the Law "On Gambling":According to subparagraph 3) of paragraph 1 of Article 15 of the Law, citizens included in the EPD are completely prohibited from participating in gambling and betting.🔹 Responsibility and control:If illegal participation in gambling or betting is revealed, the organizers of the gambling business are brought to administrative responsibility. However, these administrative measures do not provide for the compulsory return of the transferred funds.🔹 Appeal to citizens included in the EPA:The Committee urges citizens who are in the ERD to refrain from gambling and betting, and also recalls the need to protect themselves from such actions.🔹 Refund issues:The Committee does not deal with the refund of funds transferred to the accounts of bookmakers, and is not authorized to provide such services. In case of disputes related to the refund, citizens are advised to:To address the subjects of pre-trial dispute settlement.To file a lawsuit in accordance with article 9 of the Civil Code.🔹 Selection of licensed bookmakers:Citizens are advised to register exclusively on the official websites of licensed bookmakers. Akim of North Kazakhstan Region took part in the interregional forum of Kazakhstan and Russia 28.11.2024
The XX Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia was held in Ufa, Russia, with the participation of the two Heads of State via video link. Akim of North Kazakhstan Region Gauez Nurmukhambetov spoke at the plenary session, highlighting key issues of interregional cooperation.Deputy Prime Minister, Chief of Staff of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koishybayev, Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region Gauez Nurmukhambetov and heads of regions visited the management center of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the national educational center. At the forum, Gauez Nurmukhambetov held a meeting with the Governor of the Omsk region Vitaly Khotsenko, discussed issues of cross-border cooperation. Today, the deep wood processing plant is the largest in Russia for the production of OSB and chipboard panels, with a production volume of 1.6 million cubic meters of products per year. It occupies an area of 200 hectares. The factory employs 300 people. The Austrian company plans to open the same enterprise for the production of oriented chipboard (OSB) in our region.
