These measures will increase water supply coverage to 97.6% of the region's population.Work on the gasification of the private sector is also continuing. Gas networks have been connected to 7621 houses, of which 3,573 are already connected to gas. Housing construction is growing in the region. In 9 months of this year, 380.3 thousand square meters of housing were put into operation. This is 4.7% more than in the past. It is planned to build 500 thousand square meters of housing by the end of the year. Equal opportunities for all – the Karaganda region is developing a health care system for rural residents. This year, 14 new medical facilities have been opened in the villages.Akim of Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev reported on achievements in the field of medicine during a briefing at the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.– The President has set the task to rebuild the healthcare system, focusing on the quality of services and patient orientation, – said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev. – By the end of the year, we plan to open another 27 medical facilities in rural areas, and next year – 51 institutions. After modernization, two hospitals in Temirtau and Balkhash became inter-district. This will allow residents of the region to significantly improve access to medical care.Qualified medical personnel are supported and attracted to the region. In two years, 236 medical workers were given apartments. The clustering of secondary specialized institutions in eight leading technical areas has begun in the region.Young specialists will join the ranks of workers at local enterprises. TURKISH CENTER OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND CULTURE OPENED IN ALMATY The opening ceremony of the Turkish Center for Education, Science and Culture of the University of Duzce took place at the Almaty University of Humanities and Economics (ASUE). The event was attended by the Rector of the University of Duzce, Professor, Dr. Nedim Sezbir, as well as the Consul of the Republic of Turkey, Razan Azhar. The creation of the center opens up new horizons for strengthening educational and cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
