Time of changes: 9 districts of East Kazakhstan Oblast are adapting to the new working regime. 10.04.2025
Since the beginning of this year, several districts of the East Kazakhstan Region have switched to a new work schedule. The Katonkaragay district was the first to test this change - as a pilot project. Soon, 8 more districts were added to this system: Zaisan, Tarbagatay, Ulan, Kurchum, Markakol, Samar, Bolshoy Naryn and Altai.According to the new rules, state institutions and enterprises in these districts will work from 08:00 to 17:30. The lunch break is set from 12:00 to 13:30. And schools, kindergartens and medical institutions will continue to work according to the previous schedule, since their working hours are established in this format. In the Altai district, these changes affected not only state structures, but also the social sphere. The chairwoman of the district maslikhat Larisa Grechushnikova noted that this new system is very convenient for residents:It has been six months since the maslikhat of the Altai district switched to a new work mode. Since the employees have small children, they need to be taken to kindergarten at 8:00, they also need to be taken to school, and some live in private homes and have to get up early. In addition, industrial enterprises also start working at 8:00. Therefore, there is no difference in the work schedule between budgetary organizations, civil service and industrial enterprises. This is very convenient,” said Larisa Grechushnikova.Zinaida Natarova, a methodologist at the Dostyk House, also supported the decision.- “I support this decision, because for me, as a resident of the private sector, the extra hours spent on the garden plot are very important,” she said.Altai District Governor Renat Kurmambayev also supported this innovation, noting that the residents of the district fully approved the change in working hours:“Meetings on changing the work schedule were held in all settlements of the Altai District. The population supported the initiative to optimize working hours. These measures are aimed at improving the physical condition of employees and creating comfortable conditions for citizens,” said Renat Kurmambayev. The main goal of this innovation is to optimize work processes and improve coordination between districts. Taking into account the natural features of the region (early sunrise and sunset), this decision will allow for the effective use of daylight. This, in turn, will increase labor productivity and improve the quality of life of residents. The new work schedule has also come into force in the Ulan District. Meetings were held with local authorities, farm managers, and heads of educational institutions in this area. The akim of the Ulan district, Arman Bekbosynov, noted that the new schedule was unanimously supported by the population:“From today, a new work schedule has been introduced in our district. Meetings were held in 16 rural districts of the Ulan district with heads of farms, representatives of the state revenue department, police and defense departments, as well as civil servants and educational institutions. Regional departments and their deputies also participated in these meetings. A proposal to start the working day at 08:00 was made and was unanimously supported. Industrial enterprises and large agricultural structures will also work according to this schedule, which will make the work schedule of budgetary organizations more convenient. Schools, kindergartens and medical institutions will retain their previous work schedule,” said Arman Bekbosynov.“The new work schedule will allow you to pay more attention to household chores and garden care,” says Svetlana Klyuchnikova, librarian of the Ulan district. The new work schedule is also convenient for the population. As Rustem Aliyev, an employee of a local poultry farm, said:– It is now convenient for our family to go to work and the children to school at the same time, we all go out at the same time, and in the evening we do housework, spend time with the children, and find time for our family. This step is aimed at improving the organization of labor in the East Kazakhstan region, increasing the quality of life, and creating a harmonious working environment for all residents.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/akimvko/press/news/details/954976

We invite you to the open day at the "UAPF" JSC: pension payment - the result of pension savings 10.04.2025
As part of outreach work among the population, on March 13, 2025, UAPF JSC will hold an Open Doors Day on the topic “What benefits can be received from the UAPF and how to calculate your future pension?”Pension benefits are the result of pension savings and the result of labor activity of citizens. Pension provision of Kazakhstanis at the present stage is carried out from two sources. These are benefit payments from the state budget (basic and solidarity pensions), pension benefits from the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund at the expense of individual compulsory pension contributions (CPC) of the employee and, in certain cases, compulsory occupational pension contributions (COPC) for workers employed in hazardous production, mandatory employer compulsory pension contributions (ECPC) for workers born in 1975 and later, as well as voluntary pension savings of citizens (VPC). At an online meeting on an open day organized by the UAPF, we will talk about pension benefits from the UAPF, where Fund specialists will talk about their types: in connection with reaching retirement age; establishing disability of the first and second groups, if the disability is established indefinitely; the death of the CPC contributor, an individual for whom the COPC, VPC, or the beneficiary of pension benefits are transferred; moving to a permanent place of residence outside of Kazakhstan; persons who have reached the age of 55, for whom the COPC has been paid in total for at least 84 months at the time of applying for a pension benefit; citizens of the EAEU member states. It will also be explained how the amount of pension benefits is calculated, what is the procedure for receiving lump-sum and monthly benefits, what requirements exist for retirement and the factors affecting its size, what options are available for receiving payments from pension savings formed in the funded system, how you can develop a personal pension savings plan, etc. Particular attention will be paid to explaining the concept of the “income replacement ratio,” which determines what portion of the contributor’s earnings will be received as a pension. During the event, UAPF employees will explain the payment mechanism in an accessible and understandable form using practical examples, answer questions of interest and provide consultations. We invite everyone, as well as media representatives, to the online meeting. We hope that the information received will be useful for journalists to understand and cover the topic of pension benefits, as well as for all participants of the meeting. "Help your loved one": Almaty volunteers expressed support for veterans and the elderly 10.04.2025
On March 1, Thanksgiving Day, the "Help Your Neighbor" campaign began in Almaty as part of the city-wide campaign "Almaty is Our Common Home" implemented by the "Clean Kazakhstan" program. The goal of the campaign is to support the elderly. As part of the event, volunteers visited the home of Nikolai Aleksandrovich Taratunin, a 102-year-old veteran of the Great Patriotic War living in the Turksib district. The volunteers helped the veteran with the household, carried out cleaning work and provided the necessary support, thus expressing gratitude for his contribution to victory and peaceful life. The campaign emphasizes the importance of caring for the older generation and strengthening social unity in society.During the war, Nikolai Alexandrovich served in the border troops and received a number of awards. As the veteran's son noted, his father was always distinguished by his strong character, loyalty and hard work. It is worth noting that students from school No. 49 often visit Nikolai Alexandrovich's house, help him and clean up the yard. The veteran is not left without attention by employees of social protection structures, as well as servicemen of the Turksib Military Committee, who monitor his health, solve household problems, provide medical services and material support.Nikolai Taratunin's son, expressing gratitude to the volunteers, singled out the symbolic holding of the campaign on Thanksgiving Day.As part of the “Help Your Neighbor” project, Almaty volunteers visited the house of 90-year-old Tamara Georgievna Ufimtseva. They also cleaned the yard from ice, snow, and garbage.“May God grant you health! When would I take all this away? Thank you very much,” the retiree told the volunteers. In addition, the volunteers helped retiree Viktor Sakovich repair and install furniture. Viktor Mikhailovich is an engineer-designer who lost his sight some time ago. However, in difficult life circumstances, he was not left alone.“This was an unexpected and pleasant event. The children work quickly and efficiently, they are very polite. Thank you to everyone,” he said.As a reminder, from March 1 to April 1, a large-scale campaign “Almaty is our common home” will be held in Almaty as part of the “Clean Kazakhstan” program.
