It should be recalled that yesterday, on December 25, when information about an emergency situation on an Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft en route Baku-Grozny was received at 11:00 a.m., the forces and means of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan were immediately sent to the Aktau airport area. At 11.30 a.m., information was received about a plane crash 3 km from the airport. As a result, the fuselage of the aircraft broke into two transverse parts (the distance between the wreckage is 300 m), followed by a fire in the cockpit area. At 11.35 a.m., rescuers arrived and began extinguishing the fire, and at 12.05 p.m. they completely eliminated it. The total area of the crash site was 4,200 square meters.m.
