As a result, our center for correction, development and additional education has been operating in Taldykorgan since September of this year. The purpose of our activity is to provide comprehensive psychological and pedagogical assistance to children with disabilities in psychophysical development. We help to change the actual intellectual, speech, and emotional status of the child, strive to teach how to communicate with peers, serve ourselves, that is, we prepare the child for independent life, creating equal conditions for all children," says Laura Darkenbayeva, director of the Balazhan private correctional center.According to her, the correctional and developmental work with children at the center is carried out by certified qualified specialists: a teacher-psychologist, a teacher-defectologist, a speech therapist, an art teacher, an instructor of therapeutic physical education, a music director.
