The Ministry of Health has issued recommendations to general practitioners, infectious diseases specialists, therapists, obstetricians and gynecologists on providing consultative and diagnostic assistance to pregnant women in cases of influenza, acute respiratory viral infections, acute respiratory viral infections, and pneumonia.Training seminars were organized for 300 medical workers from Zhambyl, Turkestan regions and the city of Shymkent with the participation of Professor of the Astana Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Chief Infectious Diseases Specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Kosherova and Chief Specialist of the National Center for Emergency Medicine (NCEM) Gumyrbek Agibayev, and more than 10 pregnant and postpartum women were consulted on the methods of monitoring and caring for them.According to experts, the increase in respiratory infections poses a threat not only with the development of seasonal diseases, but also with complications and unfavorable prognosis.In addition to respiratory infections, cases of pneumonia and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) are currently being registered among the population.
