On August 29, 2025, a large-scale solemn event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an important state and legal date celebrated annually on August 30, was held in Kostanay, within the walls of the Zhastar Sarayy Youth Palace.Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov sent a congratulatory message, in which he stressed that Kazakhstan had taken its rightful place in the international arena and gained respect all over the world. Our economy has strengthened, updated and opened up new opportunities for citizens, and people's standard of living has increased significantly. Kazakhstan has become a country where peace and harmony have become the main value, and a multinational society is an example of unity and mutual respect.The Mayor also presented Certificates of Honor to honored residents and members of the public. Among the awardees are veterans of the civil service, employees of justice, police, media and internal audit industries.A festive concert accompanied the official part. The guests saw performances by creative groups of Kostanay region, including philharmonic ensembles, chamber performers and children's dance studios. Compositions honoring the Constitution as "a symbol of stability, harmony and confident progress" were performed.The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, adopted on August 30, 1995 in a national referendum, is the foundation of the modern state. Its text contains values such as human rights and freedoms, equality of all citizens regardless of gender, nationality, religion and other characteristics. Over the years, the document has been repeatedly supplemented and improved. At the first stages, in 1995, over 3 million citizens participated in the discussions, and proposals related to about 55 articles with more than 1,100 amendments.Regional events also took place — a solemn event called "Eldiktin asyl tiregi – ata zan" was held within the walls of the Altyn Dan House of Culture, dedicated to the significant date – the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where local residents and winners of the "Yard of Dreams" contest were honored as part of the "Taza Kazakhstan" program - The regional holiday covered a wide range of figures influencing the entire Kostanay region.The annual Constitution Day celebrations are not only a tribute to the main law of the country, but also a symbol of regional unity, development and respect for the achievements of citizens. Dushanbe, August 29, 2025 – As part of his working visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu visited several commemorative sites in the capital city.The Kazakh delegation, led by Minister Nurtleu, laid a wreath at the monument to Kazakh soldiers who died on April 7, 1995, while fulfilling their military duty to protect the external borders of the Commonwealth of Independent States along the Tajik-Afghan section.Additionally, flowers were laid at the bust of Abai Kunanbaiuly – the great Kazakh poet, thinker, and educator – which was constructed in 2024 in Abulkasim Firdousi Park of Culture and Recreation in Dushanbe.These events reaffirm Kazakhstan’s commitment to preserving historical memory and honoring the spiritual values that unite the peoples of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.The monument to Kazakhstani soldiers was unveiled on December 15, 2007, with support from the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Tajikistan, the Ministry of Defense and the National Guard of Kazakhstan, and other public organizations. Dushanbe, August 29, 2025 – During a working visit to Dushanbe, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin.The foreign ministers thoroughly reviewed the progress in the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest and high levels in the political, economic, water-energy, transit-transport, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. The parties reaffirmed their strong commitment to further strengthening the Kazakh-Tajik strategic partnership and alliance.The ministers emphasized the importance of taking practical steps to achieve the goal of increasing bilateral trade turnover to 2 billion US dollars in the coming years.
