2025: Major sports competitions in which the Kazakhstan national team will participate 13.01.2025
This year, the country will host several international competitions. And domestic athletes, as always, will compete in competitions organized in different parts of the world.These days, the ski resort "Chimbulak" in Almaty hosts the world championship of freestyle mogul and freestyle acrobatics among juniors. More than 100 athletes from Kazakhstan, Germany, Canada, China, France, USA, South Korea and other countries take part in the competition. The Championship will feature 196 sets of medals in six sports. Promising young talented athletes take part in the national team of the country. Among them are Anastasia Gorodko, Dinmukhamed Raiymkul, Ilnar Ibragimov and others.In February, the national team of Kazakhstan will take part in the IX Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China. 139 Kazakhstani athletes will compete in biathlon, ice hockey, figure skating, short track and other sports. More than 1,000 athletes from 32 countries are expected to participate in the competition.And domestic athletes will take part in the II "games of the future", which will be held in the UAE this year. Earlier, on the initiative of the head of state, Kazakhstan in 2026 received the right to hold a unique tournament – the Phygital Games of the Future, which combines traditional sports and e-sports. Kazakhstan, Peru and Chile competed for the right to host a sports event.Our compatriots will also compete in several important competitions this year. In particular, he participates in the VI games of Islamic Cooperation in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), the III CIS games in Baku (Azerbaijan) and the XII World Games in Chengdu (China).
