The international conference "The Role of Women in Ensuring Peace and Security" was held in Astana as part of the campaign "16 active days against gender-based violence". At the 4th international conference "Day of seeds "TUKYM-2025". Chairman of the Board of the National Agrarian Scientific and Educational Center Aigul Akhmedzhanova shared her views on current trends and prospects for the development of the industry.In her welcoming speech, she stressed the importance of this event in the context of the President's instructions announced at the first forum of agricultural workers.An important topic of discussion at the event was the need to strengthen domestic breeding and seed production.Aigul Akhmedzhanova stated that science and innovation play a crucial role in increasing yields and resilience to changing climatic conditions. The Prime Minister instructed to implement the CodiPlay project in schools of Kazakhstan 05.12.2024
The resident of Astana Hub, the Kazakh startup CodiPlay, specializing in innovative solutions in the field of education, was noted by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov. He instructed the Ministry of Education, together with local executive bodies, to introduce CodiPlay developments in schools in Kazakhstan. Now the project, which operates in educational institutions in Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, will help Kazakh schoolchildren develop digital skills.The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan visited the technopark at NU University, where the heads of scientific projects presented achievements in commercialization and promotion of developments. The CodiPlay project received the highest rating on the TRL scale. Olzhas Bektenov stressed the Government's support for innovative projects that contribute to the development of the economy and improve the quality of life. It should be noted that the startup receives comprehensive support from the ICRIAP of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the Astana Hub residency and funding was provided under the Seed Money program.CodiPlay already covers more than 450 educational institutions in 10 countries, including the United Kingdom, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Azerbaijan. By the end of 2024, 10 educational organizations in the Turkestan region will connect to the CodiPlay ecosystem, and by 2025 it is planned to expand this practice to another 60 schools, including institutions in Aktobe and Karaganda regions."We are grateful for the high assessment, the introduction of CodiPlay in Kazakhstani schools will significantly improve the quality of education and prepare our students for the challenges of the digital world," said Zhanadil Taldybayev, head of the CodiPlay project. "Our goal is to give children not only knowledge, but also skills that will help them compete successfully in the international arena."The project was approved by the I. Altynsarin National Academy of Education, and one of the company's products, Coditeach, was recognized by UNICEF as a Digital Public Good, which provides additional opportunities to enter international markets. The launch of CodiPlay in Kazakhstani schools represents a significant step forward in education, providing students with knowledge to adapt to the digital world.
