The main causes of fires in the residential sector are violations of the rules of installation and technical operation of electrical equipment, violations of fire safety rules during the installation and operation of furnace heating and careless handling of fire by the population. As part of the Republican Fire Safety Month, large-scale fire prevention raids have been organized in the regions. During the yard rounds of the residential sector, explanatory work is carried out with residents. Special attention is paid to socially vulnerable segments of the population and pensioners. Thus, during a joint raid in the village of Atameken with representatives of local executive bodies, deputies, volunteers, police, carbon monoxide sensors and pre-heating metal sheets were installed in the homes of socially vulnerable segments of the population by employees of the Emergency Department of the Pavlodar region. "687 carbon monoxide sensors have been installed on the territory of the region at the expense of local executive bodies and non-governmental organizations. Work has been carried out to clean the chimneys of the heating furnace in 98 houses, pre-heating metal sheets have been installed in 87 houses. In addition, in order to reach the population more widely, together with a chain of stores, packages designed for food products with information on fire-fighting topics have been released. The emergency department of Kostanay region has carried out large-scale measures to prevent fires during the heating season. The action was attended by representatives of the gas service and the housing inspectorate, volunteers, local police officers, as well as cadets of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after Sh. Kabylbayev. As part of the event, the participants covered the Nadezhdinsky rural district. They held a dialogue with local residents and handed out fire safety memos. In the Abai region, where 75% of all schools are located in rural areas, large-scale work has begun on the development of basic educational institutions. The project, implemented with the support of the state and charitable foundations, aims to strengthen the capacity of rural schools and improve the quality of education for 37,846 students who study far from urban centers.Of the 159 small schools in the region, 7 have become reference schools. These institutions have become centers of transformation, having received a modern material and technical base. 250 million tenge has been allocated for each school: STEM classrooms, equipment for chemistry, physics, biology, new gyms and interactive panels help students keep up with the times."Special attention is paid to the development of infrastructure: replacement of boiler houses, improvement of water supply, increase in Internet speed. To date, the level of water supply in the Abai region is 92.8%. In 2024, work was underway in the region on 33 projects for the construction of water supply networks. Of these, 27 are transitioning from previous years and 6 are new. This year, it was planned to complete the construction of 24 facilities, which would provide water to 22,497 people and increase the share of water supply to 96.6%.Seven design estimates for the construction of water supply networks are being developed in Semey. If the projects are implemented, more than 9.7 thousand people will have access to water supply, which will increase the level of security of the city from 91.5% to 94.6%. In addition, 20 projects for the reconstruction and expansion of water supply networks are being implemented this year. By the end of the year, it is planned to introduce four facilities, which will reduce network wear in the region from 48.1% to 46.7%.A budget application in the amount of 27.3 billion tenge has been submitted for 2025. To date, the provision of the population with sports infrastructure per 1000 people has reached 52%. Two years ago, this figure was 38%. This became possible due to the active construction of large sports complexes in rural settlements.There are 610 sports facilities in the region, including stadiums, swimming pools, hockey courts, racetracks and tennis courts. Of these, 472 are in rural settlements.In 2024, key facilities such as a sports module in the village of Taskesken, a multifunctional complex in the village of Shulbinsk, built with the support of the Samruk-Kazyna Foundation, and a sports hall in the village of Barkytbel, reconstructed at the expense of sponsors, were opened in the region.Currently, construction work is underway on a sports and recreation complex in Kurchatov, a swimming pool in Beskaragai village, a sports and leisure center in Petropavlovsk village of Borodulikhinsky district, a sports module in Kokbai village of Abai district. The region is also building facilities at the expense of sponsors in the villages of Zhanai, Eginsu, Besterek and Yeltai of Urdzhar district, a full-size indoor football arena.Similar projects are planned to be implemented in other districts in 2025. Oilseeds were also harvested in full, which made it possible to harvest 444.8 thousand tons with a similar yield.Potatoes from an area of 5.8 thousand hectares showed a result of 229.8 kg /ha, which eventually gave 134.2 thousand tons of products. Vegetable harvesting has also been completed – 128.4 thousand tons have been harvested with a yield of 236.9 c/ha.4 thousand tractors, 2.4 thousand combines and 700 harvesters were involved in the harvesting work. For the smooth operation of agricultural machinery, 15.3 thousand tons of preferential diesel fuel were allocated at a price of 250 tenge per liter.Special attention is paid to improving the quality of the seed material. Young scientists give a second life to household and industrial waste, turning it into beautiful products and building materials.The main task of Atyrau youth is to support the initiatives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym–Jomart Tokayev on the care of nature and the formation of eco-culture, voiced in the eco-action "Clean Kazakhstan", as well as to offer creative ideas to solve environmental problems in the country."We create products from epoxy resin using glass waste. In this project, we have made sure that we not only prevent pollution, but also create good conditions for the development of small and medium-sized businesses. In the future, we plan to bring our products to the local market. This idea was funded by the university as a startup project," said one of the authors of the project, student Akmaral Sagyngalieva.Students of the Department of Ecology presented 4 projects to media representatives, such as "Production of sulfur concrete from sulfur waste", "Production of paving stones using cigarette waste", "Production of bioplastics" and "Creation of epoxy resin products using glass waste"."No one processes cigarette butts right now. We collect them and use them in the manufacture of building materials. To do this, we only need cigarette butts, shards of glass and sand. To achieve the best result, we select sands from different localities.
