Aktobe region has become a leader in the construction of new schools 16.11.2024
In Aktobe region, intensive work is underway to solve the problem of shortage of student places and reduce the number of schools with three-shift tuition.Due to the increased demand for educational institutions, 44 schools are planned to be built in the region from 2023 to 2025. Five of them should be built instead of emergency schools, nine – to solve the problem of overcrowding, 21 – to eliminate the issue of shortage of places. In 2023, 5 schools were commissioned. The largest of them is the Bilimsmart school with 2,620 seats, built in the Altyn Orda microdistrict. There are currently 5,233 students enrolled in the school. In addition, extensions to schools No. 14 and No. 12 were built to eliminate the shortage of places. The opening of a secondary school in the village of Marzhanbulak in the Alginsky district also solved the problem of lack of places. This year, according to the plan, 12 schools should be put into operation, six of them are already undergoing training, the rest are planned to be completed by the end of the year.As part of the national project "Comfortable School" initiated by the Head of State, a school for 2,000 places is being built in the Yeset Batyr-3 microdistrict, and a school for 300 places is being built in the Akzhar-2 residential area. With their introduction, the problem of the shortage of schools in these arrays will not only be solved, but comfortable learning conditions will also be created for students. The construction of more than 20 schools has been postponed to 2025. "Our goal is to create good conditions for all children of the region to receive high–quality education. And the construction of new schools and the modernization of old ones will solve all the tasks set for us. Due to the increase in the number of school-age children, the issue of building new educational institutions is on the agenda. The facilities under construction will be put into operation in stages.Since it is difficult to erect buildings according to new standards in the densely populated city of Aktobe, the construction of facilities is carried out in close cooperation with local executive bodies. As for emergency schools, it should be borne in mind that each institution has a different work schedule. Accordingly, every year there is a question of building new buildings," says Artur Auezov, Deputy head of the Aktobe regional Department of Education. In addition, the reconstruction of educational facilities affected by the flood is being carried out at the expense of the reserve funds of the Government of the country. For example, kindergartens are being restored in the village of Kotibar in the Mugalzhar district and in the village of Karatal in the Wilsky district. Due to the relocation of residents of the village of Ekpetal to Uil, a 320-seat school and a 150-seat kindergarten are being built there. Also, the T. Zhurgenov secondary school in the village of Nura in the Irgiz district was recognized as an emergency, it was planned to repair it at the expense of a private investor. And in Saryob, where residents of the village of Nura were resettled, a new school for 60 places is being built at the expense of a private investor. In the future, the possibility of transferring this building to the balance of the state is being considered.Today, Aktobe region is in the first place in the republic in terms of construction and modernization of schools. All these initiatives are aimed at creating conditions for high-quality education of the younger generation.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/aktobe/press/news/details/879976
