At the moment, new asphalt pavement has already been laid on 40 streets after laying engineering communications. The construction of networks has been completed on the remaining 11 streets and the roadway is being prepared for asphalting. The full completion of the project is planned by December 15 this year. At the same time, the contractor is responsible for the quality of the work performed for five years and undertakes to repair any damage at its own expense during this period. The work covered 51 streets, and 4,800 subscribers received access to the updated infrastructure - about 25 thousand residents who had not previously been connected to the central water supply and sewerage networks."Asphalt was laid in the lower part. Below Bekmakhanov Street, all roads are paved," said one of the residents of the neighborhood."They carried out the sewerage system, carried out a new water supply. Everyone is happy. There were nuances, but everything was fixed," another local resident expressed gratitude.Previously, the deterioration of the neighborhood's water supply networks exceeded 80%, which caused difficulties in eliminating accidents. Now the citizens living in the area can count on stable water supply and improved infrastructure.Recall that in order to solve these problems in 2022, on behalf of Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev, construction and installation work on the project "Construction of sewer networks and reconstruction of water supply networks in the Lower Five-year Plan in the Turksib district of Almaty" was started. The Government discussed the revival and popularization of Kazakh horse breeds 25.11.2024
The tasks and strategic directions of the development of the Institute of Horse Breeding and feed production in Kazakhstan were discussed at a government meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin. The main strategic goals of the Institute are the preservation and improvement of the gene pool of Kazakh horse breeds along with scientific and practical coordination of breeding work of horse breeding. In order to achieve them, the institute in the near future faces the tasks of determining the necessary amount and sources of funding, attracting scientific and highly qualified specialists to work, as well as creating a material and technical base. As the head of the institute Alibek Bazargaliyev noted, in the near future, the country's leading horse breeders will conduct a survey of Kazakh breeding horses throughout the republic, following which a plan for the revival of horse breeds will be drawn up. According to preliminary calculations, the work on their revival will take at least five years. Also, the Institute of Horse Breeding and feed production, established on the basis of an agricultural experimental station, leaves part of the previous crop production activities as auxiliary, necessary to ensure horse breeding with full-fledged, balanced feeds. The meeting heard the situation with Kazakh Tulpary LLP. There are less than a hundred breeding horses left at the stud farm specializing in the breeding of the Kostanay breed of horses. This is very little for breeding and popularization of this breed of horses. The issue of stables and conditions of keeping and breeding of noble animals is also acute. All these issues will also be resolved within the framework of the unified policy of preserving Kazakh horse breeds of the Institute of Horse Breeding, with the involvement of private investments. Taking into account that the Kostanay breed of horses is horse riding, racehorse, in the future it is planned to create an equestrian sports school on the basis of Kazakh Tulpary LLP. There are 13 breeds of horses of various directions bred in Kazakhstan. Breeders, together with breeder practitioners, have developed widely known domestic horse breeds, such as the Kostanay horse-drawn line (1951), as well as the Kushum (1976) and Mugalzhar (1998) meat and dairy lines. Domestic breeds are valuable improvers of local horses in Kazakhstan. In terms of their productive qualities, they are at the level of world standards, and in terms of their adaptability to the harsh conditions of year-round pasture and grassland maintenance they have no analogues.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/moa/press/news/details/889823

Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations urge citizens to comply with fire safety rules during the heating period 25.11.2024
Preventive work continues in the regions to ensure fire safety in private residential buildings. So, last weekend in the Alatau district of Almaty, a large-scale preventive action "Ortsiz omir - kaipsiz bolashak" was held with the participation of employees of the emergency department, the district akimat, volunteers, the gas service and public figures.During the event, the specialists of the Emergency Department informed the residents of about 2,297 houses. Carbon monoxide detection sensors have been installed in 16 houses of needy families, which are heated with coal and firewood. The head of the Emergency Department of Almaty, Nurlan Atygaev, reported on the measures taken to improve security in private homes. Special attention is paid to socially vulnerable categories of the population, including large families, pensioners and people with limited mobility."Since 2018, about 1,500 carbon monoxide sensors have been installed in Almaty for low-income families free of charge. However, some residents turn them off, which carries serious risks. We continue our explanatory work and urge everyone to comply with fire safety rules," N. Atygaev said.Akimats of the districts have identified 901 families belonging to socially vulnerable segments of the population for targeted assistance. All 100% of these families are covered by prevention, of which 102 families' houses are heated with solid fuel. According to the akimat of the Alatau district, the sponsors also purchased 200 sensors for socially vulnerable segments of the population. Work on the installation of sensors continues. As part of the actions "For Safety — Together", "Helping Hand" and "Clean Chimney", targeted fire prevention assistance was provided in 36 houses. Chimneys were cleaned in the houses, cracks were repaired, walls were whitewashed in places where smoke ducts passed and adjacent territories were cleaned. Carbon monoxide sensors are also installed in 41 houses. In addition, events have been organized to provide firewood for heating to families in need.Residents were additionally informed with the help of 8 special emergency vehicles, which notified of the need to comply with fire safety rules during the heating season. Also, in one of the major shopping malls of the megalopolis, there was a public reception for emergency situations, where everyone could ask their questions in the field of fire safety.Similar preventive raids were also carried out in the East Kazakhstan region. The event was attended by rescuers, volunteers, police officers, social security and education staff. The owners of houses are informed about the basic rules of fire safety."We explain the danger of cracks in furnaces. A good owner plastered the stove and the chimney of the stove over the summer and whitewashed it, cleaned it from soot. For the forgetful, we remind you how important it is to eliminate violations in time. The furnace and the chimney at the junction with the wooden floors should have a thickening of the brickwork – cutting, and the furnace should also have an indentation – an air gap. In other words, no combustible partitions or curtains should be adjacent to the stove. It is dangerous to leave shoes and clothes on the hot stove bed," said Nurzhan Omirzhanov, head of the Department of State Fire Control of the Emergency Department of East Kazakhstan Region. In addition, a metal sheet of at least 70x50 cm in size must be nailed to the floor under the furnace door. This will protect the floor from accidentally falling out of the oven coals. It is forbidden to store firewood and paper at the stove during its heating. The distance from the firebox to furniture or other easily combustible objects should be at least one meter. In severe frosts, it will be safer to heat the stove twice with a small amount of firewood, rather than thoroughly once. It is strictly forbidden to use gasoline and any other flammable liquids to ignite the furnace.Rescuers recommend not to forget that improper use of the furnace can lead not only to a fire, but also to the death of people. Not only smoke and fire are extremely dangerous, but also an invisible killer - carbon monoxide, which has no color and smell. The first sign of poisoning is that a person begins to feel severe headache and suffocation. With a high concentration of carbon monoxide, loss of consciousness and paralysis occur.Since the beginning of the heating period in the region, employees of the Emergency Department of East Kazakhstan region have conducted more than 90,000 rounds, about 550 carbon monoxide sensors have been installed in places of residence of socially unprotected citizens. During the rounds, over 26,000 violations were detected, 11,000 of them related to stove heating. Thanks to the timely prevention carried out by specialists of the emergency service, more than 22,000 violations were eliminated by residents.
