During his working trip, Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy visited a sports complex in the village of Orkeniyet in Maktaaral rural district, recently commissioned under the Auyl – El Besigi program. Work on gasification of settlements is actively underway in the Turkestan region. In two years, 6 automated gas distribution stations (AGTS) were put into operation, significantly increasing the length of gas networks. One of these stations is located in the village of Igilik, Maktaaral district. In 2025, Almaty plans to implement a project to improve the Bauma grove, which is one of the main natural sites of the city. A solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the International Volunteer of the Year Award and the Marathon of Good Deeds project took place in Astana today as part of the International Volunteer Day. Maksat Dauletyarov, Head of the Emergency Response Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, presented awards to the best 8 volunteers of the country in the nominations "for active participation in emergency response", "for active participation in the search for missing people" and "for active participation in helping victims of offenses". "To date, the Ministry of Emergency Situations has organized cooperation with 150 volunteer organizations, where there are over 66.5 thousand volunteers. This year, over 1,000 volunteers have been involved in search and rescue operations. During the flood period, more than 50 thousand volunteers and volunteers participated in the liquidation of the consequences of emergency situations, the collection and distribution of humanitarian aid.
