In the Turksib district of Almaty, a large-scale reconstruction of water supply and sanitation systems in the Lower Five-Year Plan microdistrict has been completed. The tasks and strategic directions of the development of the Institute of Horse Breeding and feed production in Kazakhstan were discussed at a government meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin. The main strategic goals of the Institute are the preservation and improvement of the gene pool of Kazakh horse breeds along with scientific and practical coordination of breeding work of horse breeding.
