He has been engaged in universal combat for only three months. Before that, the athlete had been passionate about freestyle wrestling for eight years.– My coach told me about Unifight. It became interesting, and I wanted to try myself in this sport. Knowing the techniques and techniques of freestyle wrestling helped me a lot. I think if a person is interested in martial arts, then it will be interesting for him to try himself in something new," says the athlete.Nurasyl Kalikanov became the champion in the absolute weight category.Another fourth–year student of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Nurbek Zakarin, won the bronze medal in the category up to 85 kg.Nurasyl Kalikanov also won a gold medal in the absolute weight category in the section "Protective equipment". In the same section, Nurbek Zakarin took the third place in the weight up to 85 kg.The Unifight World Championship was held in Uzbekistan.
