Karaganda residents told about their successful performances in women's hockey and the World Championship 01.02.2025
The World Junior Hockey Championship among girls in the second division group A was held in Riga, the capital of Latvia. The Kazakh women's team won four wins in five matches and won a silver medal. The Karaganda team contributed to the team's success. According to the results of the selection, four representatives of the Karaganda team "Yunost-Gratsia" entered the team: a defender and three forwards. The championship was held from January 20 to 26. After returning home, the girls spoke about their sports career at a meeting at the Karaganda Arena ice palace. This is the third world championship for forward Anna Klimova. She previously played for the national team in Bulgaria and the Netherlands. She started playing hockey at the age of 8 and has been doing it for 9 years. The 10th grade student of gymnasium No. 3 admits that it is difficult to combine hockey with studies. When you are on a constant journey, you have to master the program yourself to keep up with your classmates.– A lot is being done to develop hockey. Favorable conditions are being created for training. We are making progress. I think that everything is enough to become a champion, – believes Anna Klimova. – Participating in the World Championship is an invaluable experience. The games in Riga were very interesting. I hope to get into the national team next year.Boyzhetken has one goal and one assist on his account.– Preparation for the competitions in Latvia was very important. Training camps were held in Ust-Kamenogorsk, then in Riga. The first match was against the Great Britain team. I think we were not fully focused, which is why we lost. We had to make a little effort. But we managed to defeat New Zealand, Chinese Taipei, the Netherlands and Latvia, – said defender Kalima Nigmatulina.According to Boyzhetken, she chose hockey because it is a great and fast sport. She has been doing it for five years. She is used to the burden: the weight of the uniform is about 30 kilograms.Kalima does not agree with the opinion that women's hockey is more difficult than men's hockey.- We are not allowed to use force. Fighting is allowed. I think it looks rougher than men's hockey. But it is also interesting, - says the hockey player.Alina Zhakulina and Renata Livshits from Karaganda also became silver medalists of the World Championship.- We watched all the games of our girls. The competition was very interesting. We barely missed the first place. In general, we played decently, - said Vasily Popov, senior coach of the Yunost-Gratsia team. - I have been coaching the women's team for eight years in a row. It is much easier to work with the girls, they play very carefully, they are responsible. But from the first day you have to strictly monitor discipline and rigor. The task is only to advance."Yunost-Gratsiya" is aimed at winning the Kazakhstan Championship. The third round of the national championship will be held in Karaganda from February 10 to 16. Teams from Astana, Almaty and Ust-Kamenogorsk will participate in the game.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/karaganda/press/news/details/926916

Kanat Sharlapayev shared results and plans for 2025 in the construction sector 01.02.2025
The Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kanat Sharlapayev, gave an interview to the Jibek Joly TV channel on the topic of construction and providing the population with affordable housing.First of all, the Minister focused on the main indicators in the field of housing construction. "By the end of 2023, we will have commissioned 17.8 million square meters of housing, which is 2.5 million square meters ahead of the pre-election program plan. This is 16% higher than the annual plan of 15.3 million square meters. By the end of 2024, the surplus will be 3.5 million square meters of housing," he said. The indicators were achieved through additional support tools, the allocation of 272 billion tenge for the purchase of 17.3 thousand apartments through the Samruk-Kazyna Fund, and the launch of the new Nauryz mortgage program.Kanat Sharlapayev said that the main task for 2025 is not to slow down the pace of construction. The government will make efforts to maintain the growth rate of housing construction. This plan will be achieved through the continuation of the Nauryz mortgage program, the construction and purchase of credit and rental housing, and the provision of new territories with engineering and communication infrastructure. The Minister shared information about state programs aimed at improving the living conditions of citizens, including subsidizing rents and providing preferential mortgage loans. For example, 7,746 loans for 202.7 billion tenge were issued under the Nauryz program. In addition, Kanat Sharlapayev touched upon the topic of the right to privatize rental housing. This right will apply to about 71 thousand citizens belonging to socially vulnerable groups of the population. To date, about 400 apartments have been privatized. “This will prevent the eternal rental cycle. The price factor is important, because housing is purchased at residual value,” he added. The Minister focused on the phased digitalization of the construction industry. Currently, more than 90% of master plans and detailed layouts have been digitized and brought into the regulatory framework in the E-Qurylys system. It allows to significantly simplify the interaction of various parties, from designers and developers to state bodies. The social facilities of the city were also mentioned separately. The Minister noted that in Kazakhstan, the self-awareness of city residents is increasing, which will help ensure the protection of these facilities. In adverse weather conditions, the speed on the Karaganda-Astana highway will be reduced to 60 kilometers per hour 01.02.2025
On the Karaganda-Astana highway, as on other republican expressways, road signs will be installed that change the permitted speed in adverse weather conditions. According to the new rules, in case of poor visibility or icy conditions, drivers are required to reduce the speed to 60 kilometers per hour. This measure is aimed at reducing the risk of road accidents and preventing emergency situations.- A special speed regime will be introduced on roads of republican significance in adverse weather conditions, - noted the deputy head of the administrative police department, Lieutenant Colonel Elzhas Zhartybayev. - The speed regime and average speed will be combined with surveillance cameras to record speed limit violations.Under normal conditions, the maximum speed on the highway in good weather conditions remains the same - 140 km/h.As for the average speed, the police department explained that it is calculated by dividing the distance traveled by the time interval. On straight sections of the road, the increase in this indicator will be recorded by automatic registration systems. They are currently installed on 13 highways of the republic in a test mode. Fines for violation of the rules range from 5 to 40 MCI.So far, such violations have not been registered in the region, because the necessary equipment has not yet been installed. What else you need to know about the changes in the legislation was reported at a briefing held at the Regional Communications Service. The classification of administrative responsibility for amateurs has changed.- Article 592 of the Road Traffic Code has been supplemented with paragraphs 3-1 and 5, - Elzhas Zhartybayev clarified. - If earlier the maximum speed limit was 40 km/h and above, and there was only one fine for it, now a driver who increased the speed in the range of 40–60 km/h will pay 20 MCI (78,640 tenge). And for exceeding 60 kilometers per hour, the law provides for a fine of 40 MCI (157,280 tenge). If this amount is exceeded again, the fine will increase to 60 MCI (235,920 tenge). This innovation was introduced taking into account the analysis of road accidents, where every third person dies due to speeding on suburban roads.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/karaganda/press/news/details/926028
Work continues to save fish in winter in Karaganda region 01.02.2025
In the Saran reservoir in the Abay district, measures were taken to prevent fish mortality: holes were drilled, reed mats were laid, and water was aerated using pumps to provide oxygen to the reservoir. More than 20 people participated in the work, as well as five units of equipment. In winter, insufficient oxygen and light enter the water from a thick layer of ice and snow, so the risk of fish mortality is high. To prevent this, specialists from the Nura-Sarysu Interregional Basin Fisheries Inspectorate, together with the Karaganda region's Department of Natural Resources and Nature Management, are constantly carrying out fish rescue operations.Measures to prevent fish mortality will continue in other reservoirs of the region until the end of March. There are a total of 179 local and two republican reservoirs in the Karaganda region. Of these, 104 reservoirs are assigned to nature users, who independently carry out preventive work. The remaining 75 reservoirs are included in the reserve fund, which is supervised by department specialists and fishery inspectors.According to information from the Nura-Sarysu Interregional Basin Fisheries Inspectorate Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/karaganda/press/news/details/926104
