Pupils of the Karaganda Nazarbayev Intellectual School won 10 medals at the annual republican Olympiad "Kazakhstan Bilim Olympiads". It was attended by students of grades 9-11 (12). They demonstrated their knowledge in one of six fields: mathematics, chemistry, physics, computer science, geography and biology.According to the results of all rounds, three gold medalists are a student of the 12th grade Amirkhan Sandybaev (biology), a tenth–grader Alidar Aitzhanov (chemistry) and a tenth-grader Artur Stroh (geography).– It took me about three years to prepare for this Olympiad. The XVII Presidential Olympiad in subjects of the natural and mathematical cycle has ended in Astana. Participants from the Karaganda region won three bronze medals, two educational grants and one certificate of honor.The Presidential Olympiad was held in the capital from November 20 to 22. In total, 190 students of the graduating classes of schools in Kazakhstan participated in it. Eight schoolchildren defended the honor of the Karaganda region.The peculiarity of this Olympiad was that everyone had to complete tasks in four subjects at once: mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.The jury included scientists from Kazakhstan and other countries, as well as winners of international Olympiads of previous years.The third places were taken by Alina Kopbaeva from the first lyceum of Sarani, Artyom Mikhailov from the Karaganda school-lyceum named after Y.
