In the Karaganda region, the return of unused agricultural land to the state continues. The set plan for this year has been exceeded. Filming has begun on a Kazakh-Spanish film with the working title "Truce" /La Tregua about Karlag under an exclusive contract with Netflix. The main director of the film is Miguel Angel Vivas, known to many viewers from the TV series "Paper House".The film tells about the difficult fates of people, about the preservation of human dignity, despite the daily struggle for survival.The star director made a bet on the skill of the actors. The key roles in the new film will be played by Miguel Erran, who previously played Rio in the TV series "Paper House", and Aron Piper, who embodied Ander Munoz in the drama "Elite", as well as Kazakh actors Dina Tasbulatova, Altynai Nogerbek, Sergey Ufimtsev and Farabi Akkozov.The atmosphere of the Karlag of the 1930s and 1950s will be conveyed by costumes, props and decorations, for the creation of which the artists spent a huge amount of time in archives and museums.Initially, the film was going to be shot in Kazakhstan, but later plans changed. A miniature Carlag for filming was built near the Spanish city of Bilbao.– We realize that it is impossible to accurately reproduce the entire situation, the Kazakh steppe, but we have made every effort. Our team has studied a huge number of documents, and a huge amount of work has been done by a group of production designers. It was a challenge, but we did our best to recreate a piece of Kazakhstan here in Bilbao," says Cesar Benitez, director of the film company Plano a Plano, responsible for filming the film."Truce" is the first work for Netflix with the active participation of Kazakhstani actors, producers, coordinators and other specialists.– This project is an important step in the development of international cooperation. A book with notes and lyrics about the native land was presented in Karkaralinsk.The event was celebrated with a big concert, where the compositions included in the collection were performed.There are 61 songs in the book in total.They were collected by employees of the Karkaraly cultural and leisure center of the Sholpan Zhandarbekova estate.– The idea to create such a collection was born to me many years ago, when the song "Tabigat Padishasy" by Lyudmila Melnikova appeared. Her notes were published in the newspaper "Karkaraly", and the song itself is dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Karkaralinsk. It is symbolic that at the concert in honor of the release of the collection, I sang this song myself," recalls Bayan Akhmetova, a methodologist at the Sholpan Zhandarbekova Cultural and Leisure Center.There was no way to bring the idea to life right away. There were few suitable songs, and not everyone could find notes that could be printed in the collection. Like-minded colleagues helped solve the problem.– When I came to work at the cultural and leisure center, I told my colleagues about my idea. They supported me, and we posted an announcement on social networks that we were looking for songs about Karkaralinsk.
