Earlier, on behalf of the head of the megalopolis, Yerbolat Dosayev, traffic on the bridge was closed due to its emergency condition and it was decided to build a new one.The new single–span bridge structure was erected in the shortest possible time - in almost 4 months. As part of the first stage of the work, the dismantling of the emergency bridge, the reconstruction of engineering networks, the installation of 29-meter drilling piles, the installation of supports and retaining networks were carried out.The built bridge is almost twice as long as the old one: 33 meters versus 16.8 meters. It can be seen that the work was carried out efficiently and with convenience for pedestrians. We can confidently say that it will last for decades," Yulia Khvalynskaya said.Semeygul Ziyadanova also appreciated the new bridge. "This bridge is of great importance for the residents of the neighborhood, because several bus routes pass through it, as well as a school bus. It is indispensable for residents of the region and those who go to nearby villages. In 2025, Almaty will develop a mountain infrastructure to attract tourists 07.12.2024
In 2025, 697.4 million tenge will be allocated for the development of mining and urban infrastructure in Almaty. This was reported during the session of the Maslikhat of Almaty, which adopted the city budget for 2025-2027.The plans include the creation of 10 mountain routes with navigation facilities, the arrangement of 3 camping areas with solar panels in hard-to-reach places, the reconstruction of the Alma-Arasan thermal spring, the manufacture of tactile models of tourist facilities, the maintenance of information centers, totems and terminals. These events will highlight the uniqueness of Almaty, its cultural and natural attractions, as well as a variety of tourist products.Recall that in 2024, the Tourism Department of Almaty completed work on the improvement of 10 mountain routes (1. The old trail to the Tuyuk Su alpine camp. 2. Yunnat lake – Butakovka – Forest pass. 3. Yunnan trails. 4. Sanatorium "Ak-Kayyn" – Small Almaty gorge 5. BAO – Pogrebetsky peak. 6. MAU. Tuyuk Su Alpine camp – Tuyuk Su glacier. 7. Butakovka Spring (2 km of trails have been landscaped in the Butakovsky gorge, a river crossing has been built, benches and gazebos have been installed, including for citizens with special needs.) 8. Medeu. Recreation trail 9. Medeu. Karakungei Ridge. Observation deck ("Elephant") 10. Medeu. Karakungei Ridge. Circle of Serkebai). There are 367 information signs, 15 gazebos, 66 benches, 6 recreation platforms, and 4 bridges along the mountain trails. All elements are made of high-strength materials, including high-melting steel, resistant to extreme weather conditions. Vandal-proof structures have been used, which ensures the durability and reliability of the infrastructure even under intensive operation.Special attention is paid to safety: reliable river crossings have been built, as well as sections of routes adapted for people with different levels of physical fitness. The work was carried out taking into account the high popularity of these areas among residents and visitors of the city. Convenient and safe routes are designed not only to improve the hiking experience, but also to emphasize the natural wealth of the region.A systematic approach to the improvement of Almaty's mountain routes contributes to the creation of new points of attraction for tourists. One of the striking examples is the bench installed in 2023 at the peak of the Baby as part of comprehensive infrastructure improvement works. Malysh Peak has already been popular among tourists and nature lovers, however, in order to increase interest in this route, there was a need for additional emphasis - now the bench has become an important element that has turned the object into a unique tourist attraction. The Almaty Tourism Department urges tourists and residents of the city to observe safety measures, take into account weather conditions, carefully prepare for mountain walks, and adhere to a culture of behavior in the natural environment. It is necessary to take care of nature and urban infrastructure, keep clean, clean up garbage and preserve the unique beauty of the surrounding landscapes for future generations.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/898155
