In general, a number of initiatives are being implemented in Almaty to encourage separate waste collection:•more than 1,200 eco-boxes are located in the city's organizations;•There are 11 fandomats for receiving plastic and aluminum bottles;•500 grain waste collection containers have been installed;•There are 8 recycling collection points.
