The Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia officially opened a branch of KazNU in OmskKassym-Jomart Tokayev and Vladimir Putin took part in the opening ceremony of the branch of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University at the F.M. The solemn event was also attended by Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev and Rector of OmSU Sergey Zamyatin.Admission of applicants to the branch of the first Kazakh university in Russia is scheduled for September 2025. The governments of Kazakhstan and Russia have allocated 200 grants for student education.The branch of KazNU will train bachelors and undergraduates in the specialties "International Law", "Kazakh Philology" and "Customs".
