During 2024, 28 projects for the development of heat supply for a total of 18.5 billion tenge are being implemented in the region. On October 21-22, 2024, Astana hosts the 13th International Forum on the Electronic Apostille program, organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with Maqsut Narikbayev University with the support of the Secretary General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law Christophe Bernasconi. This event has acquired special significance, as it was the first time a forum of this scale was held in a Central Asian country.The forum was attended by experts and practitioners from more than 16 countries, including China, the United States, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, India, Turkey, Poland, Brazil, Singapore, Belgium, Greece, the Philippines, Chile, Israel, Colombia, Lithuania and others, as well as representatives of government agencies. The participants discussed topical issues of the implementation and use of the E-Apostille program, shared their experience and developed consolidated recommendations for further improvement of the system."This e-APP forum was the first face-to-face event since 2019, when we gathered for the 11th forum in Fortaleza, Brazil. On 23 October 2024, the report of the World Justice Project was published, which recorded progress in Kazakhstan in the area of rule of law. The country improved its position from 0.53 to 0.54 points, reflecting a consistent effort to strengthen the rule of law and improve the effectiveness of the legal system.This growth is the result of Kazakhstan's comprehensive efforts to combat corruption, protect human rights and improve the judicial system. The index measures key indicators such as government’s limited powers, transparency, rights, security and justice.Kazakhstan has shown the highest results in the field of public order and security, receiving 0.80 points. As a result of the defense, 245 recommendations of the member states of the UN Human Rights Council were received, of which 214 recommendations were supported and implemented by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 31 recommendations were taken into account, taking into account the ongoing national legal policy of the state and the practice of applying current legislation.The meeting considered the implementation of recommendations received following the results of the third cycle of Kazakhstan's UPR, and also discussed an alternative report from a Coalition of non-governmental organizations on the fulfillment of international obligations by Kazakhstan, decisions of Treaty bodies on individual complaints of citizens, and other topical issues of law enforcement practice. Today is the second day of the Kazakhstan Judo Championship, which is taking place in Aktobe. Its winners will be included in the National team of the country.Aktobe accepts judoists from all over the country on its tatami after eight years. It was in 2016 that competitions of this scale were held in our city for the last time.This year's Kazakhstan Judo Championship is held among men and women. It takes place from November 15 to 18 at the Konys sports complex.510 judoists from 17 regions, as well as from Astana, Almaty and Shymkent, take part in the competition. Athletes compete for medals in seven weight categories."Three experienced international judges who previously worked at three Olympic Games, as well as a representative of the International Judo Federation (IJF), the Secretary General of the organization, have been invited to the Kazakhstan Judo Championship in Aktobe. Their task is to ensure objective refereeing and transparent drawing of the competition. The presence of such specialists will primarily contribute to an objective assessment of the level of Kazakhstani athletes and increase confidence in the results of the championship," Aybek Imashev, Executive Director of the Judo Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted the peculiarity of the competitions.Aibek Imashev also explained why the national championship is being held in Aktobe."Aktobe is a significant center for the development of judo in the country.
