Of this, 1.6 billion cubic meters of water will be discharged into the Aral Sea.“This will allow us to collect the volume of water required for the irrigation period this year, as well as to implement measures to preserve the ecosystem in the southern regions of Kazakhstan. I note that the situation in the south of our country is different from the west and north. There have been no large-scale floods here. And in the summer, the demand for irrigation water is very high. That is why we are carrying out completely different work on providing water to the south. We will resolve all issues related to water distribution and protection of transboundary water bodies together with our colleagues in the countries of Central Asia," said Nurzhan Nurzhigitov, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/water/press/news/details/927334

Professional orientation begins in kindergarten: the foundation of future professions is being laid in the Karaganda region 01.02.2025
In the Karaganda region, it is believed that vocational guidance should begin at an early age. It is in these preschool years that the foundation for future professions is laid and a child's interest in certain areas arises. The Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has repeatedly noted that "early vocational guidance of children is of particular importance. The rising generation should consciously approach the choice of a future profession...".Each of us dreams of becoming a doctor or teacher in childhood, and with age, orientations change. To help a child determine his future profession, it is important to give him the opportunity to try himself in various fields as early as possible. This approach is used by the Saltanat kindergarten in Shakhtinsk, where the Special Science project has been implemented since 2021.- Lessons are held in the form of games. Children are explained through experiments and in an accessible language where rain comes from, what temperature is, how a compass works, - says Irina Oberderfer, director of the Saltanat kindergarten. – Children can test themselves as scientists in areas such as chemistry, biology, physics, engineers and researchers, which can be the first step in choosing a future profession.Since 2024, this project has been part of the “Special Science for Those Who Are Interested” program of the Karaganda region’s education development roadmap. 22 preschool organizations of the region have joined the project, and teachers from “Saltanat” have begun to conduct master classes and train their colleagues. The peculiarity of the program is continuity: cooperation with schools contributes to a gradual transition to in-depth study of science, and interaction with the Shakhtinsk Technological College helps in choosing a future profession. How are preschool children and an educational institution that trains technical specialists related? College teachers are conducting the “TechnoMalysh: Radio constructors for future engineers” project. Special children's radio constructors have been developed together with students.– These kits will help children aged 5–6 years old master the basics of electronics and programming in a playful way. Children can assemble simple electronic devices, such as radio receivers, and as they grow older, they move on to more complex projects, such as lamps, alarms, and smart home models, - explained Mikhail Pravosudov, chief expert of the Electronics Competence Center, a teacher of special subjects at the college. In addition, college teachers plan to create a coloring book and methodological recommendations for educators.- The main goal of the project is to develop children's technical skills from an early age, form technical thinking skills, and introduce them to modern technologies, - says Valentina Tarasova, deputy director of the college. - According to statistics, 26% of children have technical thinking skills. In order to get as many technical specialists as possible in the future, it is important for us to develop these skills at an early stage. The college has two competence centers - "Electronics" and "3D-modeling of computer games", as well as a student design bureau. Projects aimed at developing technical creativity and innovation are being implemented here, including the creation of an educational environment for students in grades 8–9.– We are creating a system of continuous vocational education "School-College-University-Employer", says Valentina Tarasova. – This year we are planning to summarize and summarize. Also, the college is developing a web platform for exchanging projects and interactive tools for programming, electronics and 3D modeling. All these initiatives have a common goal - to train future specialists working in the field of high technologies and engineering.
