To date, 203 thousand children with special educational needs are registered at the psychological, medical and pedagogical consultation (PMPC). They study in 496 specialized educational institutions. A significant step forward has been made to create inclusive conditions in organizations: conditions for children with special educational needs have been created in 69% of kindergartens, 88% of schools and 80% of colleges. There are 1071 specially equipped classrooms in schools. "In the country's schools, the position of "teacher-assistant" was introduced, which allowed to increase the number of specialists from 1 to 2.5 thousand per year. Now the opening of this position is also being considered in preschool organizations. In total, more than 9 thousand special teachers work with children with special educational needs. The II Republican Olympiad for students of rural schools has started 27.11.2024
The fourth stage of the Republican Olympiad in natural Sciences and mathematics for students of grades 9-11 (12) in rural schools has begun.The Republican Olympiad for schoolchildren of rural schools has been held since the last academic year as part of the fulfillment of the instruction of the Head of State to reduce the gap between urban and rural schools and has become traditional.This year, about 1,000 rural schoolchildren from all regions of Kazakhstan who have passed the previous stages of the Olympiad participate in the republican stage. The Olympiad takes place in 6 subjects of the natural and mathematical direction from November 26 to 30 and in 7 subjects of the social and humanitarian direction from December 10 to December 14 in the traditional format in two rounds."In order to support children studying in rural areas, identify talented and gifted students, since the last academic year, the republican Olympiad for schoolchildren of rural schools has traditionally been held. According to the rules, the Olympiad is held in 13 subjects and consists of 4 stages. 99,264 students from different regions of the country took part in the first (initial) stage. 53,593 schoolchildren participated in the second (district) stage. At the regional stage, 1,088 winners out of 12,000 students received tickets to the fourth (republican) stage. Of these, 486 participants will compete in the field of natural sciences and mathematics, and 450 in the field of social sciences and humanities," said Director of the RNPC "Daryn" Gajdembek Tursynov.According to the results of the Olympiad, winners and prize—winners will be determined - 45% of the total number of participants. They will receive diplomas of I, II, III degrees from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Certificates and memorable gifts will also be presented to all participants. The winners will receive rector's grants from a number of universities in the country. In addition, all participants of the III stage will be enrolled in the republican correspondence school "Daryn".
