All livestock in the Zhetysu region has been "digitized" 15.02.2025
Currently, there are more than 2.3 million livestock in the region, of which about 500 thousand are cattle, 1.6 million. heads of small cattle, and more than 200 thousand horses. All of them are registered in the state information system "Database for Identification of Agricultural Animals". In general, much attention is paid to the veterinary sector in the region. For example, over the past two and a half years, 49 veterinary points and 1 veterinary station have been built in the region. This year, 20 more such facilities are planned to be built. In addition, digitalization is being widely introduced and used in this sector, - reports the press service of the Zhetysu region akim.According to the regional veterinary department, in the process of digitizing veterinary processes, the "VetLab" and "ISZH-Mobile" modules for diagnosing highly dangerous diseases, which are included in the iszh.gov.kz web portal of the state information system "Database for Identification of Agricultural Animals", are widely used in the region. Similarly, all 34,763 livestock owners registered in the identification database in the region are now fully using the “TortTulik” mobile application. In this regard, special attention is being paid to strengthening the material and technical base to improve the quality and efficiency of the work of veterinary specialists. For example, since the establishment of the region, 45 special vehicles, 217 computers, as well as 238 tablets have been purchased.- Now, after the launch of the “ISZH-Mobile” mobile application of the agricultural animal identification database, tablets have been purchased and delivered to veterinarians. Working with a tablet has significantly simplified and accelerated our work. The work done during visits to large farms and private yards, i.e., registration of livestock, preventive measures, vaccinations, is immediately entered into the database using a tablet. Even in places without Internet access, the data entered on the tablet is automatically sent to the appropriate database immediately in places with Internet access, - says Aigerim Bekbosynova, a veterinarian at the Taldykorgan city veterinary station with veterinary stations, who has been working in this field for almost thirteen years. In addition, the Department of Digital Technologies of the Zhetysu region has included anthrax burial grounds and cattle burial grounds and veterinary stations in the electronic map of the "Zhetysu region Situation Center". The annual winter census was attended by representatives of the Zhetysu Regional Forestry and Wildlife Territorial Inspectorate, the Okhotzooprom State Enterprise, the Institute of Zoology, and the Association for the Conservation of Biodiversity in Kazakhstan. The work was carried out on a clear, windless day by seven teams of twenty enumerators. As a result of two days of work, it was determined that about 5.5 thousand gazelles and about 190 argali live in the territory of the national park. And the number of kulans in Altyn-Emel amounted to 3.6 heads. It should be noted that this is the largest kulan population in Kazakhstan. The steady growth of the number of ungulates allows the animals to be reintroduced to other historical habitats. For example, last year, 87 animals were released to the "Altyn Dala", "Ile-Balkhash" reserves and the "Sozak" forest reserve.Let us recall that the main goal of the event is to inventory the population of argali, kulan and gazelle, which are included in the Red Book of our country.Source: Official website of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan A wild animal census was held in the Altyn-Emel National ParkSource : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/zhetysu-oblysy/press/news/details/936184

Aktobe region plans to return 160 thousand hectares of unused land to state ownership 15.02.2025
The meeting of the regional administration chaired by the regional governor Askhat Shakharov considered the issues of rational use of irrigated lands and the return of unused agricultural lands. As Nurbol Yerzhanov, head of the Aktobe regional land relations department, said, this year it is planned to return 160 thousand hectares of unused agricultural lands to state ownership. Last year, 219,063 thousand hectares of land were returned. At the expense of this, it is planned to expand the volume of pasture lands in the region. Currently, due to the increase in livestock, the shortage of pasture lands in populated areas is 97.0 thousand hectares. In addition, work has been undertaken to return lands located within a 100-meter border strip to state ownership. Negotiations are underway with economic entities to voluntarily transfer plots in Aiteke Bi, Kobda, Khromtau and a number of other districts. It should be noted that land plots will be provided through a competition. For example, in 2024, 376 plots with a total area of 467.7 thousand hectares were allocated through public procurement, including plots for agricultural and commercial purposes. The budget received 161.1 million tenge. In addition, 3 million 903.1 hectares of land are being restored in the region within the framework of 125 restoration projects. In accordance with the Roadmap for Improving Soil Fertility, this year it is planned to conduct geobotanical studies on 7 thousand hectares in Martok and Kobda districts.Askhat Shakharov noted that akims of districts and the regional center are responsible for the rational use of irrigated lands.“The land issue is very important and responsible. Entrepreneurs and agricultural producers must clearly understand that the process of acquiring land plots is regulated by a specific procedure. We cannot give land without a specific purpose, for this there are competitions and auctions. "District akims should conduct explanatory work on this issue in local areas, that is, residents should be informed about where and what competitions are held, as well as how land plots are allocated. For us, it is important, first of all, to focus on the efficient use of land for growing vegetables, fodder and providing pasture for livestock. In addition, it is necessary to continue work on restoring the land and returning it to the state reserve. There is land, but our task is to use it for its intended purpose, observing all the established norms and procedures," the akim noted during the meeting.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/aktobe/press/news/details/936098
