Large-scale modernization of engineering infrastructure continues in the Karaganda region. 14 heat supply projects are being implemented in Karaganda, Balkhash, Temirtau and Shakhtinsk for 31.5 billion tenge. 17 km of main heating networks have been put in order. This will reduce network wear by up to 64.4%. One of the largest projects in the region's housing and communal services over the past 30 years is the construction of a third heat outlet in Karaganda. – The heating main was launched in October. In the future, for seven years, the third heat sink will be able to provide heat to 1.2 million square meters of housing, that is, over 20 thousand apartments," Ermaganbet Bulekpayev said at a briefing in the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, special attention is paid to providing drinking water to remote settlements. This year, water supply will be established in 14 villages. The industrial zone covers 190 hectares and includes 21 projects with a total cost of 10.5 billion tenge, providing 954 jobs. The republican environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan" continues in the Karaganda region. As part of the "Divide! Give it up! Recycle!" more than 3 thousand schoolchildren of the region attended educational lectures and learned how to properly sort garbage.Today, an informative interactive lesson on waste sorting was held for students of Shakarim Gymnasium No. 93 in Karaganda.The students were told that proper sorting and recycling of waste helps to preserve natural resources. They learned a lot of new facts about plastics. For example, that a plastic bottle decomposes for about 500 years. All participants received eco-parks.Similar lessons were held simultaneously in four other city schools. More than 200 children took part in them.In addition, an ecological competition "Ecogeroy" was organized in Karaganda. Children from 33 schools competed for the title of leaders in various categories. There are also additional awards, such as "The most active team on Instagram".– The main purpose of the competition is to teach children and teenagers the skills of sorting waste and involving them in the collection of waste paper and plastic bottles.
